We were thrilled to host Joseph D. Early Jr., Worcester County District Attorney's Offices, Prevention and Support Network at our Independence Hall location in Shrewsbury, MA. We discussed how law enforcement can collaborate with harm reduction and treatment resources in the community to implement the DA's Overdose Response Strategy. Together, we are committed to making a positive impact on our community and addressing the overdose crisis.
Supporting our Veterans is a top priority, and we recognize the unique barriers they face with mental & behavioral health.

Veterans are able to get one year worth of support and services in just one day! On June 21st, Veterans Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Department of Labor, and other local agencies, hosted the 19th Annual Stand Down, the largest Veteran-focused Resource Fair in Central MA.
Held at Veterans Inc. HQ and Historic Armory, this event served over 500 Veterans and their family members, providing essential services and support free of charge. With more than 150 providers and employers onsite, we were able to offer the care and assistance our Veterans and their families deserve.

Veterans Inc. Maine Team attended the 12th Annual Maine Military Community Network Conference by the Bay in Portland. We successfully connected with attendees in the networking hall along with 60 other vendors, providing resources and information Veterans. Regional Manager Ray Michaud was part of a panel discussing Community Partnerships and . SSVF case manager Abby Gray received the MMCN Certificate of Appreciation for her extraordinary work with in Maine. The Maine Team in attendance included Treska Berube, Abby Gray, Dennis Michaud, Chanda Hinton, and Ray Michaud.

The ‘Building a Flag’ workshop at Old Glory Millworks in Templeton, MA., was a powerful testament to how far just a little hope and faith in yourself can take you.
A few Veterans had the opportunity to engage in the empowering experience of the "Build a Flag" workshop, expressing a renewed sense of vitality during the holiday season.
“I had a blast at the workshop,” shared one of the participants, “You know, when we started putting together the American flag, it didn't seem very convincing at first. But with some smart thinking, planning, and organizing, what looked like nothing became an unbelievable-looking American flag! It went from looking like nothing to absolute perfection.”

“Landlords can’t just say ‘leave’ and that’s it. They have to follow the law. My organization is trying to navigate vouchers, identify resources and fill out forms so they can move on to their next apartment,” said Bill St. Denis, a Veterans Inc. caseworker.

The Rhode Island Veterans Inc. office wants to say a big thank you to the Rhode Island State Police and Captain Kenneth Jones, along with Massachusetts Military Support Foundation Inc., Ocean State Job Lot, The Home Depot, and the Patriots Foundation for their Generous Donation of winter coats for Veterans in need. Because of them, we can now provide winter coats to Veterans to help keep them warm in these winter months.
'Tis the season of giving! Treat yourself and make a difference with the "Skinny Santa" pizza at District Wood Fired Kitchen, loaded with smoked brisket, pork belly, andouille sausage, hamburger, and French fries. All month, 10% of Skinny Santa proceeds will directly support Veterans and their families with our wrap-around programs and services.
Grab two and indulge because a skinny Santa is unheard of!
Worcester Regional Airport is proud to support Veterans Inc. Thanks to our staff and members of our airport community who participated in the Massachusetts Port Authority's annual food drive, we're able to provide meals and food supplies to our local veterans.
The Student Nurses Association collected an amazing 621 pairs of socks for Veterans Inc. in Worcester! This donation was made possible through a partnership with Bombas socks and the generous support of our campus community. We're incredibly proud of our nursing students for their dedication to giving back and making a difference in the lives of veterans!
