Worcester Irish Cultural Music Festival Call For Musicians

We are currently looking for Irish music acts for the 2nd Annual Worcester Irish Cultural Festival taking place on Saturday, October 12, 2024 (Rain date October 13) at Polar Park in Worcester.

Entry Requirements:

1. Please send the following information to [email protected]
- Band Name
- Years together
- Link to Website
- Link to all social media accounts
- Video or MP3 file of 1-2 songs.
- Contact person email and phone number

2. Please list 1-3 references of venues that have booked your band before.

Timeline: The festival is on October 12th from 11:30-6:00pm- Your act could be booked for 90 minutes-2 hours within that time frame. Time of performance will be agreed upon by both parties before a contract is created.

Entries Due: No later than July 15th.

Selection Process: The festival committee will review all submissions and reach out with any further questions.

Notification to artist: You will hear from a member of the WICF Committee no later than August 1.

There are so many people to thank for making our inaugural year a success. First and foremost to our sponsors for helping us kick off our first year and setting us up for success in the future, to the event staff and grounds crew at Polar Park, to our Gaelic football players, coaches, and officials, who came in from out of town, to the Worcester Fenians and the folks at Fiddlers Green Pub Worcester Hibernian Cultural Centre Division 36 who were tremendous partners, to Clare and the McInerney School of Irish Dance dancers and families, to crawford , Cillian Vallely, Dave Curley, and Colin Farrell for traveling all the way up to be our entertainment for the afternoon, to our committee who worked tirelessly over the last several months to make sure our fest was a success, and lastly, to everyone who bought tickets and came out in droves to celebrate with us.
