🍻 Join us at Armsby Abbey on Saturday, April 20, 2024, for our 12th Zwanze Day celebration! 🎉 We’re thrilled to be one of the select few venues worldwide chosen by Cantillon’s Jean van Roy to pour Zwanze 2024. Here’s what you can expect:
🕘 Doors open at 9am for a Cantillon-inspired brunch until 3pm. Kitchen will be closed from 3-4pm for dinner prep. 🍾 We’ll be tapping a lineup of Cantillon favorites and rarities, including Zwanze 2024, plus an exciting bottle list (limited quantities).
🎟️ No tickets required! All tables are reserved on a first come, first served basis via RESY. Larger parties call 508-795-1012.
🍽️ When reserving, mention “ZWANZE” in the comments.
⏰ Table limits will be enforced: 1-3 guests (1.5 hrs), 4-6 guests (2 hrs), 7+ guests (2.5 hrs).

Votive No. 3 - Double Barrel Imperial Stout Aged in Sherry and Bourbon Barrels

This week we’ll be sharing the third batch of our Double Barrel Imperial Stout, Votive (14.2% ABV). What started in stunning Amontillado Sherry casks and Willett Bourbon barrels two years ago was transferred into Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry barrels early last year for further aging. To us, the most compelling high-gravity stouts are those that let the barrel character take center stage, lending nuance and inspiring thought from an inherently intense style. Each batch of Votive has a unique story to tell and we’re excited to share this one. Now available for pre-order at foxfarmbeer.com.

With each step taken towards preparing Votive, we’re reminded of the first batch we blended in preparation of the legendary Stoutfest Breakfast at years ago. It ranks among our fondest memories as a brewery - keep an eye out for this one to be pouring at Armsby later this week as well.
