We've been studying ancient Greece in our homeschool lately, so today we had a feast of traditional Greek foods...olives, salami, sesame bread, tabouli, spanikopita, stuffed grape leaves, grape leaf wrapped fish, and baklava. I happened to see the article from the T&G about Kalamos earlier this week, so my son and I took a field trip there yesterday to shop for supplies. If you're ever in the market for some incredible Greek eats, I highly recommend Kalamos. Luis was so incredibly friendly and helpful. He and my son hit it off right away and Luis even sent him home with some treats for his brother & sister as a free gift. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the olives and the spicy feta spread...so good!

Tim wanted nothing until the "big cracker" had been opened and eaten. Merry Christmas, and thank you!

My first time visit the home made hummus is delicious so much better than name brands and the customer service is great

Went here for the first time today! Super nice people there. Louie (sp?) was super helpful and friendly. He helped me find some things and I ended up with the homemade moussaka, homemade rolled baklava and the homemade honey vanilla yogurt. So good! Can't wait to go back here! Thanks Rick for pointing this place out to me!

Nia and Louie are great ,we will be goin back soon .getting my new list ready, also I used the phyllo brand that they have it’s one of the best the sheets were perfect , I’ll be buying that brand from now on .

We ordered a delicious and extremely affordable Greek dinner for two (which could’ve fed four!) yesterday from Kalamos Greek & Mediterranean Market in Worcester. Lots of food not pictured, but here’s what we ordered:

Appetizer platter: 4 mini cheese pies, 4 mini spinach pies, 4 grape leaves, olives and cheese enough of 2 people
Main course: each plate will include: 3 pork souvlaki, oven roasted potatoes, a side of greek salad and some tzatziki
Dessert: traditional baklava
