Hello Worcester City Leaders,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to our C.H.E.E.R Community Showcase taking place on Tuesday, May 21st 430pm to 6pm. The youth in our program will be presenting to you and our community all of the great community work, programming and advocacy they have been doing here. Our youth need your support as they are aspiring and current community leaders. They have something wonderful to show you.
This is a tabling event where you will simply walk around and visit each table where our youth will be showcasing what we've been upto these last 10 weeks and why it is so important to have your support.
This will truly be an exceptional experience for our youth as they have been working hard to prepare! In preparation our youth have met with community partners and asked for support and collaboration which they will be receiving! We entered the E-For All pitch contest in April and took home a $500 award for fan favorite! They've also met with Leominster Credit Union where they had quite an exceptional proposal they presented which was met well and with a positive response.
We are hoping that you, our current community leaders and influencers of our current generation will show up and let these kids know, they are worthy, they are valued, they are seen, they are changing the world and our community and you'd like to help them do so.
Please join us Tuesday, May 21st 430pm to 6pm, you are welcome to come at any time and walk through and experience our youth and their table presentations, you do not need to be there for the length of the event, it will be running 430pm to 6pm and open to the community to come show up and CHEER for our youth!

Never give up!! Nothing is impossible.
Rhea Bullos, an 11-year-old track athlete from the Philippines, went viral after competing in a local inter-school running meet. Bullos won three gold medals in the 400-meter, 800-meter, and 1,500-meter competitions.
The girl went viral not only because she won but because she didn't have running shoes and decided to use bandages as shoes.
I always say and I will reiterate that at any point in your life, Know that you have everything you need to succeed. The girl did not focus at what those who had shoes had, she focussed of using what she had and has further opened many other opportunities. Many of us wouldn't have participated for fear of what other runners or spectators were going to say about us and would have missed an opportunity that would have improved our lives and eventually bring other opportunities.
How many opportunities have passed you because you are not using what you have? Stop focusing on how other people started and start using what you have. Always remember You are enough.
