🔔 Festival Appreciation Dinner - Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 6:30pm at St. Spyridon Cultural Hall

Festival volunteers are invited to an evening of delicious food, drinks and a walk down memory lane as we wrap up Greek Festival 2024 and say thank you for all of the incredible work put in by our community to host an epic event.

This year, we’ve got a cool new vibe brewing: the Kafenio — or coffee shop. Our coffee shop will feature classic Greek coffees, some of the newer and trendier espresso based drinks, and a selection of desserts.

The festival is 3 months away and Greek dancing is such an important component. So far, we’ve already had 50+ kids join the dance team and we are encouraging families to continue signing up! Here’s the information so far:

- First practice: March 17th, after church on Sunday. Ages 5-18.
- Weekly practices begin on March 17th.

Embracing our traditions: Dancers, join us at the St. Spyridon Greek Festival 2024 on June 21st, 22nd and 23rd!

As we gear up for the 2024 Greek Festival, we extend a warm invitation to all parents to sign up your children to represent an iconic piece of our heritage: music and dance.

Our festival is not just a celebration of food; it is a reflection of the traditions, values and unity of our community. Our Greek dance performances play a pivotal role in storytelling and highlighting our rich history.

Dancing at the festival is a moment of pride for our youth and for our community. Join us as we represent all regions of Greece, for what is sure to be a truly wonderful showcase!

What is your favorite Greek dessert?

Baklava is an iconic Greek pastry that is made from layers of golden flaky phyllo stuffed with crushed walnuts and soaked in a luscious honey syrup.

Our Bakery menu is still in the works but we can promise that that there will be a variety of signature sweets to delight your palate! From baklava to loukoumades to galaktobouriko, you won’t be disappointed.

We won’t sugarcoat it… this festival will be the sweetest gig in town …. Donut miss it!!! 😉

One of the most exciting things we have in store this year is a brand new menu, meticulously curated by Greek families and restaurateurs in the community. Our menu is crafted with expertise, deep thought and family recipes that have been handed down for generations. We’ll be discussing current plans and details that are already in the works and asking for your thoughts and input! This is also an opportunity for the newest members of our parish to find out more about the festival and how you can get involved.

We would like thank all our volunteers who made this years Grecian Festival a huge success!

Last night, we held a Festival Appreciation Dinner for our volunteers at our Cathedral’s Hall.

It was a great night to enjoy delicious food, drink and Live Greek Music with Fotia.live

Thank you to Paul & Melina Barber and their son Myles, George & Lisa Maniatis, Nick Paleologos and Eleni Giannakis for preparing our delicious food last night.

We also would like to thank Gus Giannakis, Christos Tsigas, Jimmy Vasiliadis & Dean Alexandrou who came together and donated our fabulous entertainment for the evening.
