Psalm 92, 93 & 94 - These Psalms are believed to be written by David and here we find Psalm 92 which focuses on the Sabbath day which God created and set aside for us to spend time with Him, and Psalm 93 which focuses on praising God for who He is and what He's done. Psalm 94 prays for God's judgement on His people and David makes a plea to God out of frustration to put the wicked people in check and don't allow them to keep getting away with the evil things they do. God reminds him that vengeance is His and he will pronounce His judgement upon them. If you have ever gotten frustrated with the wicked seeming to prosper, then you will relate to what David is saying in this psalm.

People are in our lives for a reason, a season, and most are not here to the end.

But that beautiful face looking back at you in the mirror everyday is your companion for life, so make sure you love, respect, and accept yourself completely.
Be kind, loving, and good to yourself. 🥰

(Never feel guilty for moving on from anyone who had every opportunity to treat you better and never thought it was worth doing.-)

Psalm 90, 91: What's interesting is that Psalm 90 is a prayer that Moses wrote about his experience in being in the wilderness with the Israelites and how he was pleading for God not to continue to be mad at them for their disobedience. Psalm 91 - Is a very popular Psalm that people turn to; to remind them of God's protection - especially when the COVID pandemic was widespread. This would be a good Psalm to read when you are scared or have doubts about what's going to happen next. It gives you the reassurance and God's promise that He will take care of you, no matter what happens.

Is it possible to cheat on God? As part of the 10 commandments, God says that we should have no other God before Him. While that may be true, we do cheat on Him even though we know we shouldn't. What have you made a "god" in your life that is competing with the one and true God? Hear more about it at our 10:30am Sunday Morning Service!

Psalm 89, Part II - We continue with this Psalm with the understanding that if we disobey God, he will discipline us and the writer has a concern with God not protecting the one that serves Him and seemingly allowing David's enemies to have their way with him. You ever have a situation where God called you to do something and then for some reason it seems that God has taken His hand off you or left you to fend for yourself? If yes, then you may relate to this Psalm.

Psalm 89 - This Psalm also focuses on the faithfulness of God to His promises. Later you will find that He questions God on his promises and even questions if He forgot about what He promised. Tonight we will do Part 1.

Psalm 86, 87, 88: You will find David pleading with God and asking Him to deal with his enemies. People who find themselves in a bad situation and are asking God to move on their behalf can probably relate to this. You later find one of the writers going through His Job experience when things aren't just going right and he ends up in a dark place so he starts to complain to God about his situation and asking him to do something about it.

💗When someone says no to you, or doesn't like you, or simply ignores you remember this:

💗Rejection may make it feel like something is "wrong" with you, but I would like for you to think of it another way. There is nothing wrong with you, so it is not a rejection, it is a redirection.

💗It means that this relationship is just not for you. It's most likely not in your best interest, so move on.

💗Never take what others say and do personally. It is always a reflection of what is happening within them. Why live your life based on another person's opinion?

(An unhealed person can find offense in pretty much anything someone does. A healed person understands that the actions of others have nothing to do with them. Each day you get to decide which one you will be. - unknown)

This Sunday we are going to address an age old question: "Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People?" It doesn't make sense that good people experience hardship and pain, especially when they are trying to be "good." So why does this happen and how do we make sense of this? Join us at our 10:30am Worship Service to hear more!
