With 2022, we have made new friends, grew our Enhanced Home Care family, and came together as a team to bring joy. This world continues to turn, time refuses to slow down, and despite all dark times, the sun will rise once more and shine light. We are here to see it all and face all challenges with you and your loved one.
You are not alone.
We, and all who are an advocate for seniors, will be here for you.

As 2023 begins to blossom, always remember that there is a hand to hold, an embrace to give, and a smile that is 100% contagious. Enhanced Home Care will continue to be that light and work together with friends and family to make sure that everyone is taken care of to the best of our ability.

With each new day that we rise to, we don't always expect our lives to change. They can be little things at first - a new freckle, a new laugh line, or a grey hair that you swear wasn't there yesterday.

Our bodies change no matter how hard we try to mask it. And you know, it's scary. However, we also know that we are strong and Enhanced Home Care is making sure to help you all stay strong mentally, emotionally, and physically.

But we are not the only ones - Enhanced Home Care makes sure to partner with like-minded people to make sure that your life not only has the resources you need to take on aging. We also want to make sure you have fun with us.

So you're not ready for that next chapter, and that's great! Make sure you tuck all of the little things you learn along the way into your back pocket for the future because maybe YOU don't need services of any kind, but you may have someone in your life that will. Or, maybe you know someone who knows someone. Don't let anything stop you from going out to health fairs or our free clinics! Keep an eye on Franklin County's local pages, Linkedin pages, etc. Stop by the senior center every once in a while, for a calendar. Staying active is the key! Attending fairs helps you learn what is available, helps you stay active, make new friends, and find a new hobby!

Today was so much fun! Thank you Hilliard Assisted Living for having Enhanced Home Care this morning! Sarah and her partners are fun, enthusiastic, and so deeply caring. We can't wait to be a part of the next event!

We want to THANK YOU White Hall senior center!! Today they provide so many different options, opportunities, events, games, AND MORE.

Enhanced Home Care was just one of many speakers today to help educate seniors and plan for the future for not only themselves but loved ones.

So many AMAZING questions were asked by everyone and we hope that we can help not only be a service for those involved today, but to be a resource.

The beginning of the week is our absolute favorite here in Columbus because it is when we provide FREE clinics and Q&A sessions to residents!!

Kem, Mia, and everyone else that looks over the residents at Stygler Village cares so much! They are doing their absolute best to provide only the best services made available to not only their residents, but for the family members as well. Health Fairs should become more common and that is going to be a goal for Enhanced Home Care. We will do our best continuing to provide education and resources to all of our Columbus partners, residents, and families.

We were having so much fun we forgot to take photo's!

Enhanced Home Care helped Stygler hold ANOTHER equipment cleaning event. But this time, we busted out the hose! This day was such a great day to do this too - everything was able to dry out in the sun while the residents enjoyed the patio.

This little lady's chair is such a pretty pink! We are so glad we were able to polish it up!

A mother is in your life from the very beginning. With unconditional love, she is there through thick and thin, taking care of the bumps, scrapes, and to wipe away the childhood tears.

Every smile, laugh, and gentle gesture will remain in your heart forever. Even the discipline that you may have thought was harsh then has made you who you are today.

Enhanced Home Care does its best to care for your loved one as if they were our own parent. So, to all of the loving mothers out there, Happy Mothers Day.

We were honored to attend picnicks and tea parties yesterday at Hampton Woods and Stygler Village! We were so happy we could help sponsor by bringing flowers to plant and cannot wait to see them bloom and grow.

What a beautiful Friday we had here in Columbus! Thanks to Home Depot for donating soil and plant food, some of the residents at Hampton Woods and their new manager, Chad, were able to celebrate Earth Day by cleaning out their old garden. They also planted vegetable seeds!

Enhanced Home Care was so happy to help and we are looking forward to watching the new garden grow!

Enhanced Home Care was asked to join the community at Stygler Village for a lunch and learn! We were able to introduce ourselves, hold a FREE fall, balance, and blood pressure clinic, and educate those that joined us on ways to stay Heart Healthy. We were so honored that Kem remembered us upon entering his new position at Stygler and are thrilled to help another community to stay healthy and active.

Thank you Stygler for partnering with us! We are looking forward to getting to know your community and are excited to continue monthly clinics.

And a very, very happy birthday to Kem. Stygler has gained an excellent addition to their building.

We are extremely proud to share that our Medina team recently completed a deficiency-free CHAP accreditation recertification survey. The surveyor could not say enough how fantastic our clinicians are and how stellar our clinical documentation is! The surveyor also said that deficiency free surveys are very unusual and difficult to achieve!

We truly have a great team that loves what they do. Together, we can overcome anything and, together, we will continue to grow as a business and family.

Time is both cruel yet forgiving. It often moves fast and slow, forcing us to lose ourselves in the moment. We are then wrapped up in an overwhelming blanket of mixed emotions having no choice but to continueon. As the last remaining hours of 2021 come to an end, we can't help but to think that it was just as rocky and unpredictable as 2020. However, we leave this year a much better version of our selves despite all that came our way.

Time will give and time will take away. So as you count down the last seconds of 2021, make sure to embrace those that are here with you. Shamelessly cry tears of joy or sorrow over all that time has given or taken from your life. Then, take a deep cleansing breath in a quiet moment you have stolen for yourself to remember that regardless of what you think, the positive moments this past year has given will always outshine the negative ones. You have survived. You may have bumps, bruises, and scars, but you are a better, stronger, and wiser version of yourself.

Time will not slow, the sun will rise, and the stars will always peek through all of the midnight clouds. If it is one thing this pandemic has taught us, it is that we are all in this together. So, no matter that time of day or night it may be, never be afraid to reach out for there are people who love and care. 2022 brings more growth, more ways to improve your quality of life, and an ever growing version of you. So when you're wrapped up in that emotional blanket, take time for yourself- the world can wait. If you cry tears of sadness for what you have lost, let them come naturally. Next year is here. 2022 is brighter than ever before, and so are you.

As we wrap up 2021 we would like to take a moment to thank the tremendous teams navigating the healthcare landscape at this time. Were it not for the clinicians, office staff and administrators putting in 110% every single day, all of us would be lost while trekking through the pandemic.

We look forward to continuing this mindset into the new year and, from all of us at Enhanced, would like to wish each and every one of you a safe, healthy and prosperous 2022!

The end of 2021 has been quickly coming to an end. The roller coaster of a year has hardly slowed down as the seasons passed us by - at first we had sunshine and bright blue sky, blossoming flowers and waving strands of grass, to singing birds hovering below fluffy clouds. Now we have bright colors of whispering leaves that have already begun to fade in color before fluttering down to a soggy wet earth.

As this week comes to a close, time will all but slow down for us. So make sure, as you last minute wipe away that dust and animal fur off your coffee table while your in-law's ring your door bell for Thanksgiving dinner, to remember to breathe. Although things may never get back to normal after 2020, this is a start and 2022 is right there with it just begging for normalcy. This Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for. Time may not have been kind to our finances, our bodies (because we all know we find at least another grey hair sprouting up each week), our minds, or our hearts. However, time forces you to step forward because the past is the past and all that is left is for you to look forward. So while you sit around the table, see what time has left you:

Family. Friends. A roof over your head. People who love you. People who care for you (blood or no blood). And the ability to grow to be the best version of yourself no matter how old you are.

Enhanced Home Care has grown so much since 2005 and we are all Thankful and humbled by the over whelming support from each and every soul we have been blessed to cross path with.

It is hard admitting to growing up, getting older, and then reaching that point where you need to ask for help. It is even harder yet even knowing where to turn to ask for that help. Enhanced Home Care knows this so we reached out to offer help before even being asked!

Here you see our head physical therapist not only offering an ear to listen to those with aches and pains, but emphasize with the residents of The Grand and even educate them! Ed held a Fall and Balance clinic where he did all that was mentioned as well as adjust equipment to help them become more comfortable and put a smile on their face.

It was so fun being a part of West Parks and Dublin Retirement Village's Trunk or Treat! Such a cleaver idea on how to stay safe in the community during these uncertain times.

Enhanced Home Care is truly humbled and grateful to have been a part of Bickfords celebration of life! Someone turned the young age of 101 - an age that not many see today. And boy does this young man touch the hearts of so many here in Worthington!

As you listen to your loved one tell of stories from the past, hear them laugh as memories come back to them, and watch them as their eyes move lovingly around the room to look at family they have watched grow, remember to enjoy those moments. Be kind, be patient, and best of all, smile because you never know how much of an impact you can have on someone both young and old. That impact will last a life time.

Assisted living week was the 13th of September. Let us just take a moment now, even though the time has passed, to recognize and thank everyone! It takes a lot of heart, time, and dedication to hold together an assisted living facility. Keep in mind that those working within each facility are working within the home of someone's loved one.

Job Description:

To provide physical therapy care in accordance with the patient’s plan of care to include comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluation, monitoring of the patient’s condition, health promotion and prevention coordination and services, teaching and training activities.

Duties:

> Provide admission, case management, and follow-up physical therapy visits for home health patients.
> Performing accurate and complete OASIS within regulatory requirements, when required
> Confer with physician in developing the initial plan of treatment based on physician’s orders and initial patient assessment. Provide hands-on care, management and evaluation of the care plan and teaching of the patient in accordance with physician orders, under Clinical Manager’s supervision.
> Coordinate appropriate care, encompassing various healthcare personnel (such as Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Home Health Aides and external providers).
> Implement patient care plan in conjunction with patient and family to assist them in achieving optimal resolution of needs/problems.
> Prepare appropriate medical documentation on all patients, including any case conferences, patient contacts, medication order changes, re-certifications, progress updates, and care plan changes.
Qualifications:

> Diploma – Physical Therapy
> Home Health experience a plus
> Current State licensure
> Current CPR-BLS Healthcare Provider certification
> Valid driver’s license
