This past Thursday, our summer interns had their volunteer day in partnership with the Provident Foundation and Move For Hunger. They were split into six teams and participated in a competition using canned and boxed goods to build the best structure possible. The food was then donated to the local food bank to help individuals in need.

Provident Bank’s retail banking team recently came together for the annual retail banking rally!

This year, the Formula One themed rally was hosted by Robert Tharp SVP/Retail Sales Director, and featured keynote speakers from different departments within the Bank. In addition, there was a fireside chat featuring Vito Giannola, EVP/Chief Banking Officer and Karen Garrera, EVP/Retail Banking Director, which included discussions on the retail bank’s vision for the future. Provident Bank’s President and CEO, Tony Labozzetta delivered remarks during the program as well.

The purpose of the annual rally is to promote the partnership between internal business partners and the retail banking team.
