Our amazing interior design team placed FOURTH IN THE NATION, and they were recognized last night by the school board for their amazing work!

We are kicking off our first fundraiser! Yes it's early, but we are selling poinsettias! You can pre-order now and pick up will be in December. You even have the option to DONATE a poinsettia to a local nursing home! Make sure to select FCCLA in the drop down box, and you can enter a name if you are supporting a certain student!

We are currently in Seattle attending the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America National Leadership Conference! We’ve enjoyed beautiful weather, gorgeous views, and lots of learning and preparing for competition!

Our National qualifiers were recognized by the Wylie ISD School Board last night! We are so proud of them!

We had some AMAZING competition results at our State Conference! Three of our teams placed in the top five in the state for their categories! We want to congratulate and celebrate them:

The Wylie East High School Culinary Arts program and FCCLA have an awesome fundraiser opportunity that will benefit both of our programs! We will be selling lunch, concessions, and baked treats during the Solar Car Team's car show happening at Wylie East on April 20th!

Human Growth and Development students have been studying the teenage brain this week. Today they made brain hats!

Just in case you want more pics! Here are all of our state qualifiers and some of our medalists! We are so proud of ALL these kids!!!

🎉We had some amazing results from our regional competition! We have FIVE teams advancing to state competition in April. On our family and consumer sciences assessments, we had 9 gold medal scores🥇, 9 silver medal scores🥈, and 1 bronze medal score🥉! These Raiders worked SO hard and it shows in their results!!!

These Raiders have had an amazing two days of competition! We can’t wait to find out the results!

Allison, Sarah, Sofia, Jada, and Hazel did an excellent job representing the Architecture and Interior Design pathway at the junior high schools! They got to meet with 8th graders who are about to choose their classes for next year and share some information about our program.
