This summer, the Harrison Intermediate PTA was awarded a grant from Pilot, in partnership with National PTA, of 12,000 Pilot FriXion erasable pens.

Our pens were delivered last month and we thought today would be a great day to treat our teachers.

The Harrison Intermediate PTA was honored to host the Wylie ISD Council of PTAs October Delegate Meeting today. Thank you to all of our volunteers for helping create a successful event. We love spending time with Wylie ISD friends.

Thank you to those who attended our Reflections after school event yesterday! If you couldn’t make it or want to attend again, we have another coming up on October 21st from 3:30-4:30!

We are thrilled to kick off our 2024 Reflections Arts Program! 🖌️ Last year, we had a fantastic turnout, and we can’t wait to see even more incredible art from our Buccaneers this year!

📢 **Calling all creators of tomorrow!**
This year’s theme is **"Accepting Imperfection."** 🌟 Submitted by an 8th grader from San Antonio, TX, this theme encourages students to embrace their flaws as part of what makes them human. "Our flaws are as much a part of us as our strengths, so being imperfect should be perfect enough for us."

In the next few days, we’ll be highlighting each of the following categories:

- 🎬 Film Production
- 📚 Literature
- 🎶 Music Composition
- 📸 Photography
- 🎨 Visual Arts
