Hello all! I am back! For those of you who were not aware, I broke my hip in October and had a full hip replacement. But as of today, I am feeling great and ready to get back to massage. Also, just an FYI, I am raising my prices $10. $75/hour. $85/90 minutes. $75/somatic therapy sessions. I look forward to seeing you all and wishing you the best new year!

Transformative Touch is a form of somatic therapy that helps people befriend their bodies, tap into untapped emotions and heal from past pain and trauma. I am now certified in Transformative Touch, a form of Somatic Therapy. This is the 2nd form of Somatic Therapy that I've added to my skill set. What is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic therapy is rooted in somatic psychology, a body-oriented approach to psychology. Somatic therapies work by addressing the feedback loop that continually runs between the mind and the body.

Somatic therapy is different from typical psychotherapy (talk therapy). In regular psychotherapy, the practitioner engages only the mind. In somatic therapy, the body is the foundational point for healing.

I have daytime appointments available. I am also available for phone and in-person consultation to address any questions or concerns you might have before beginning your sessions. I would love to share this amazing world of Somatic Therapy with your body!

Hello all. I am learning a new modality called Transformative Touch, a somatic bodywork modality which uses gentle touch to help people bring awareness to their bodies. I am in need of practice clients. Sessions are about an hour, they are fully clothed. There is no charge to be a practice client but there are some boundaries that I must adhere to.

1. A practice client cannot be a current client.
2. A practice client cannot be a friend or family member.
3. I will be doing a phone screening to make sure you are a good fit for a practice client. Our trainers want us to practice on people who are NOT in the midst of a crisis.

So, if you are on my page as someone who has never been to me before and you are interested in helping me on my journey please reach out.
