Good day Washington! After a short shut down Washington Hay Connection is re opening for business. I apologise for the lack of notification on the shut down. It was a bit unexpected here as well. The goal is to restore WHC to what it use to be a reliable and honest source for our hay needs.
As everyone already knows this is not the greatest year for hay prices and inventory. I have secured inventory to stock a lot of barns. Some varieties are not as abundant as others and unfortunately came at a higher price. I am still shopping for lower cost alternative hay to help those that are having a difficult time with the higher prices.
I do not foresee inventory lasting through the winter in m honest and professional opinion I would suggest stocking what you need for the year now.
Will still be running a 2 ton minimum and can haul up to 9 tons. If you need more then 9 that not a problem I have subcontracted with a larger out fit to bring in the heavier tons.

1st orchard $400 a ton

1st timothy/orchard mix $390 a ton

1st Timothy $460 a ton

1st orchard/rye mix $350 a ton.

1st/2nd alfalfa $400 a ton

1st orchard/alfalfa blend $390 a ton (limit supply. 2nd will be here shortly.)

As the weather getting warmer and grass is growing a lot is getting done here at washington hay connection to provide the top notch service that a lot of you folks know comes from working with us.
Some of these things we would like to share with you. Truck and trailer have been gone through bumper to bumper and lots of maintenance as been so to reduce break downs and make us safer on the road. Lighting has been added to help with working in the dark or low light.
We have gone through our hay suppliers and w**d out the lower level hay producers. 2021 will offer more hay of a high quality. We have been working with the farmer to insure top grade bale quality and consistency.
Chambered bale's. Worried about how much hay can fit in your storage? Well we have met that problem head on. 2021 will be bringing a chambered bale. It is pressed right out of the baler. It's compact size still offers a consistent weight and a cleaner stackabilty in your storage area.
Types of hay that we will be carrying this year. Timothy, orchard, orchard alfalfa blend, alfalfa, and teff.
We still have very clean and beautiful orchard alfalfa blend for sale as well as alfalfa first third and forth cuttings. Stack are low but there is still some left.

Good noon to you all looking to put some loads through to the wet side! Have room on a load to go to anacortes this Tuesday will be hauling primarily 2nd Timothy but can through alfalfa or orchard alfalfa blend on there. Everything is running $380-$390 a ton. Please let me know what you need.

2021 is here and got an update on Hay. Will be working on keeping this as updated as we can every month. All hay is 3 tie chambered bails averaging 105 lbs. All loads are scale weighted. All prices are delivered and stacked.

2nd timothy 3 tie $390 a ton

2nd-4th cutting orchard/alfalfa blend $390 a ton

2 ton minimum for delivery mixed trailers may take some time to get enough orders on the trailer to move in your direction.

Hay, it's the "toilet paper" for livestock owners. Definitely essential!

Yesterday, once again, they went above and beyond. Unable to get their trailer across my grass to the carport, where we store our hay, due to recent heavy rains. Elliot dropped the trailer in our driveway and ran loads to the carport with his truck!

Hey Washington we are trying to expand us on social media. Not quite sure how to use our 2 new profiles but I am sure you all can help. You can now follow us on Google and Instagram. Help us by making suggestions what about your hay and hay supplier you want to see! I.e. feilds, process, ups and downs.
Trailer update got it back from the shop and the only thing we can figure out as to what is wrong is I need make it stronger! So that is what we are doing is adding some muscle. Will be back to running hay come Tuesday!

Wanted to let my great Washington hay people know that after a very close call last Thursday on I5 north the trailer is in the shop for inspection and possible repair. In the mean time we are using this time off the road get samples pulled from new crops and into the lab.
If you have messaged us and have not herd back yet we are very busy and are doing our best to get to everyone as quickly as we can. These prices include delivery and stacking. Have loads going to Stanwood and the Oly Penn area that still have room on the trailer. Have a 2 ton minimum but can now offer semi delivery as well.

Hoping to be making a run to Stanwood area on Thursday still have half a trailer to fill. About 4-5 tons anyone need any hay 2 ton minimum anything less then that will need to meet the truck in route.
