Aren ☺️
We received the sweetest quote from our rider Aren’s grandma today and we had to share! “Aren has learned so many new skills and his confidence has grown full measures. He no longer needs behavioral cognitive therapy and he is beginning to gain social awareness, which has been directly related to his team at Pegasus!” 💙🐴

We’ve had some exciting updates on our sensory trail! Huge thanks to Paragon Northwest for adding a gravel pathway throughout the trail. Our riders and ponies have been out enjoying the sunshine! 🐴☀️

We had some excitement here last week when two of our students successfully cantered!! With the help of their awesome instructor Karrie and two of our rockstar horses Bo & Primer they were able to reach this incredible goal! 🐴🩵

Polo for Pegasus did not disapoint. Many hands and amazing sponsors made it all come together.

We’re on our break between sessions and the horses have had a great week! Chiropractor visits, and a trail ride at the Washington State Horse Park! It’s so important to give our horses time to decompress and do something different 😊🐴

We are between sessions giving our beloved horses a break and allowing time to go through the amazing photos captured by Kiera Ray and sifting through photobooth pictures. What an amazing night, can't believe it was 2 months ago. We are so grateful for the 600 people and 40 sponsors that made SPURS another huge success, THANK YOU. Only 297 days until we do it again, see you all 1.20.2024.

Once per session, we try to do ground lessons with some of our participants, it gives them a chance to learn other things about the horses besides riding skills. Instructor Heather taught a fun lesson last week, where her riders (and their parents!) practiced being horses and understanding their gaits! ❤️🐴

What a fun lesson with Instructor Heather & these giggly girls on Tuesday evening!! 🥰🐴

2nd Annual Polo for Pegasus was truly unbelievable. Great day enjoyed by all and the rain stayed away for us this year. We are so grateful for those that attended as well as our amazing sponsors, we couldn't do this without you. Thanks to Jennifer Noel (Dagdagan) photography for capturing this fabulous event. See you next fall as we do it again.

We’re on break this week before our Summer Session starts! Ranger is reminding everyone to relax and do some yoga 😂😆🐴 See you all June 18th at our Lil Summer Bash! Tickets still available!

A special thanks to SPLASH EXPRESS car wash for graciously sponsoring this big boy; meet Ranger, our youngest, largest & newest addition to the Pegasus herd. He is obviously a natural when it comes to soccer. . We're so close and only 3 horses left to sponsor.

This year has not started off how we had hoped! Due to the giant spike in COVID cases in Yakima in January we had to cancel our largest fundraiser event SPURS. On top of regular operating expenses and property maintenance, our 26 acre property has a failing irrigation system that desperately needs upgraded. We need to raise $75,000 to upgrade our irrigation system and pump to be able to keep our property fully-functioning. Our pasture grass feeds our lesson horse herd for much of the year so that we aren’t spending as much on purchasing hay. SO HOW CAN YOU HELP?! Here are some great options: -SPONSOR A HORSE FOR THE YEAR $2500 -SPONSOR A RIDER’S TUITION FOR THE YEAR $1000 -PUT YOUR BUSINESS ON AN ARENA SIGN! $1000/year Please reach out to Mary Marquis, Partners & Events Coordinator with any questions on ways you can contribute at [email protected].
