East Valley High School Friends Family:
We would like to recognize our seniors from the Class of 2024 that have worked diligently to earn their AA degree through the Running Start program at Yakima Valley College. These students successfully completed six consecutive full-time terms at the college. We are very proud of them and wish them further success in their post-secondary endeavors!

Seniors- We are serving all seniors breakfast tomorrow, June 6th, in the courtyard starting at 7:30am.

We have some unique bell schedules June 6th, June 11th, and June 13th.

Attention Seniors- All of the elementary schools are putting together a little celebration for you.
If you attended Moxee Elementary, stop by for some "Muffins for Mustangs" June 3rd at 7:30am.
If you attended Terrace Heights, stop by for "Bagels for Black Bears" June 3rd at 7:45am.
If you added EVE, stop by for "Junk Food for Jaguars" June 3rd starting at 2:35.
The staff at these schools are excited to see you!

The NFHS live stream feed for tomorrow's game at Columbia River. The NFHS requires a subscription (about $15/month), but you can purchase a month and cancel at the end. This would allow you to see all of the state championship action in all sports next week. Go Devils!

Devil Prevention Club recently held an event promoting WA state "Choose You" campaign. "Choose You" is an anti-va**ng campaign and promotes choosing yourself over va**ng ni****ne. The students in the club raised the money to put on events like these in promoting healthy lifestyles. The students put on lunch activities and designed sweatshirts to wear around school promoting "Choose You".

EVHS students participated in the 30th annual WCTSMA State Competition. This is a very rigorous academic and skills competition. Each student took 3 academic tests over the course of the weekend. Competitions included: Sports Medicine Skills (6 students), Anatomy and Physiology (2 students), CPR and First Aid skills (2 students), Medical Terminology (2 students), and Strength and Conditioning (2 students). Students prepared for this competition on their own time after school. Here are the highlights of our performance:
Avelina Dearte placed 13th out of 96 in Medical Terminology, she missed being awarded a medal by 5 points!
Adalee Anderson placed 26th out of 91 in Strength and Conditioning, she missed being awarded a medal by 8 points!
Sports Medicine Skills had their highest score as a team (Jalayna Abundiz, Jacob Glenn, Nathalie Gayan-Soto, Evan Powell, Kylie Marquis, and Paige Wilcox).
As a team East Valley scored the most points in program history!
We are very proud of their performance!

🎉👑🌟 We're bursting with pride and admiration for our incredible Mr. East Valley pageant contestants! 🌟👑🎉
A huge round of applause is in order for these outstanding individuals who poured their hearts into raising an astonishing $36,527 for the Children's Miracle Network! Their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to giving back to our community are truly inspiring.
Not only did they shine on stage, but they also showed us the power of compassion and generosity. Every dollar raised will make a difference in the lives of children and families in need, and we couldn't be more grateful for their efforts.
Congratulations to each and every contestant for their incredible achievements. You've exemplified what it means to be leaders, role models, and compassionate citizens. Your impact will be felt far beyond the stage, and we're so proud to call you part of our school community. Keep shining bright! ✨

Career and College Fair- Wednesday March 13th from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the commons!

March 12- Mr. East Valley Community Night- $5 for adults $3 for students. Silent auction, dash for cash. Doors open at 5:30 and the event starts at 6.

Mr. East Valley is taking over Provisions this Thursday from 5-8. Reservations are recommended and 5% of all sales proceeds will go directly to the memorial foundation😋
