ENTRUST OBSERVES JUNETEENTH TO HONOR FREEDOM FOR ALL.
Juneteenth is a federal holiday recognizing June 19, 1865, when the last slaves in the United States learned they were free. Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced the Emancipation Proclamation that had been enacted in 1863.

Man builds a custom 'bike chair' for wife with Alzheimer's so they can continue riding together "She has done so much for me over all of these years. Now she can't but I can, and I can return her love. And it's a love that, to me, means I can do everything for her," the doting husband said.
Meet Camren! Despite this being his inaugural year in Unified Robotics, his enthusiasm for the sport knows no bounds. His love of travel and passion for building and coding his team’s robots spur him on, and his enthusiasm inspires everyone around him. When Camren’s not battling it out in the ring, he can be found in his backyard, digging for lost treasure hidden by his grandfather for him to discover!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED 🤝
Nothing About Us Without Us is now state law.
The push to pass what became HB 1541 started 4 years ago, and grew stronger every year. The idea? If the state sets up groups or task forces to advise it on policy-making, people with direct, lived experience with the matter should be included, especially if they are from traditionally underrepresented groups.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of the advocates who worked on this issue. THANK YOU Rep. Darya Farivar for steering this through and sponsoring 1541, and Representative Gerry Pollet for initiating an earlier bill.
Thanks also to all of the King County legislators who cosponsored HB 1541:
Rep. Jamila Taylor, Rep. Chipalo Street, Representative My-Linh Thai, Rep. Julia Reed, Representative Lauren Davis, Rep. Emily Alvarado, Representative Cindy Ryu, Rep. Tina Orwall, Representative David Hackney, Rep. Steve Bergquist, Rep. Amy Walen, Representative Liz Berry, Representative Roger Goodman, Representative Mia Su-Ling Gregerson, Representative Shelley Kloba, Representative Nicole Macri, Representative Davina Duerr
As well as its Senate companion, SB 5616:
Sen. Javier Valdez, Senator Noel Frame, State Senator Bob Hasegawa, Sen. Patty Kuderer, Sen. Joe Nguyen, Sen. Derek Stanford, Sen. Claire Wilson
