It’s hard to overstate how destructive Proposition 6 would be for California. Vote no - Los Angeles Times Even though everyone agrees on the need for California to fix its infrastructure, some people don’t want to pay the needed gas taxes for it. That's unacceptable.

Trump Administration Starts Adding Details to Border Wall Plan

A CIP (Cast In Place) reinforced concrete wall is complete waste of time & money! Immediately (2) solutions come to mind for those wishing to cross border in spite of 30' tall wall .. (1) they will simply demolish a hole in wall near ground from the mexico side of wall large enough to smuggle people through; or (2) dig a very short tunnel underneath the footing for wall and cross the border underground. It will not take many resources or time to achieve this, and those wishing to do so cross border have the time and tenacity to do so. A much less costly steel fence can still establish a physical border, slow & manage the flow of illegal immigrants, for Approx. 20% of the cost of a concrete wall. A steel fence is a better alternative and also assist the US steel manufacturing industry with a "Buy America" clause.

Either way, Concrete or Steel, those with a strong will power to cross our border, will do so.

Our tax dollars will be better served on repairing and replacing our country's aging infrastructure and not a concrete wall at the US / Mexico border.

C'mon Donald Trump, don't waste our tax dollars with such a boondoggle. I believe the concerns of illegal immigration can be served with a wall that cost 80% less than a concrete wall.
