ALTS Dog Training I have had an admiration for animals from a very young age. I was the one going to pet the dog after being told not to, which lead to some adventures to say the least. I met MCS Dog Training when I needed help with my Treeing Walker Coonhound, she would jump on everyone! When I met with George, owner of MCS, he made everything incredibly easy and it wasn't about teaching the dog anything. He taught me how to lead my dog. I have been so impressed by George that I asked him to work with me so that I can train using the same methods as he does.

I believe in assessing the situation or behavior, demonstrating a leadership role, training my clients how to lead, and supporting them along the way. When I leave your home you will have the tools to train your dog and continued support for any questions or concerns.

Best way to get started for the day!

I made it 2 miles yesterday and I came back in 1 piece. I was slow but you have to start somewhere. You can’t figure out how to reach your goal if you don’t know where you are.

Todays goal: Core at the gym, meeting to discuss cars shows, prep for this weekend’s events, treat myself to a sweet treat, and be a great dog mom.

This weekend we will be at Black Locust Hops Farm Brewery in Freeland on Friday from 4-8:30. They will have live music and if you have not been their beer is phenomenal!

Saturday we will be serving breakfast in Middletown to the wonderful people of the Air Force.

Sunday we will be at the Dover Community center from 12-4/5 serving the wonderful community that supports BARks while they take on a few rounds of Bingo!

Pre Taco House I was running over 20 miles per week. I have not ran in years. I’ll be thankful if I make it a mile. Here I go..

And that’s the end of Taco House! I can’t wait to see you out at events!

I know I have some customers that are making it a point to be my last order ever. My question is who will be my first order to start the day? Maybe it will be our friend Tango?

Thank you for all of your understanding, love, and support. You are the reason we were able to donate over $8000 to the community in the past two years. You all are the blocks that created our foundation and we will continue to grow stronger, and larger because of you. If you come in today please write in our farewell book as we want to carry you with us to our next chapter.

I remember going into this two years ago thinking I was just going to sell food. I had no dreams of a food truck and I wanted to stay away from it completely. We were asked to do a couple events, it started with 15, then turned into 68 the following year, and now in February we have 134 events on the books so far.

I remember thinking that I would miss out on all the car shows that I used to go to. I didn’t know anything about hosting a car show. Our first one had about 35 cars, everything from an exotic to a 1930s Ford. Our last car show had over 100 cars! We actually ran out of space. I met some truly amazing people through the car shows; some have become very good friends.

I want you all to know that you made this all possible and from the bottom of my heart I can’t thank you enough. I hope to see you around soon!

Today and tomorrow are our final days! Stop in before 8pm on Thursday!

This is extremely bittersweet. I will not miss the store at all. What I will miss is you! My customers mean the world to me. I love getting to know everyone. We all have a story, thank you for sharing yours with me.

This year is shaping up to be a great one! We have 109 events on the books so far! We will be doing a farewell to Taco House on 2/24 and we hope that everyone stops in. I will try to have a list printed for the events for the year and we have some really cool technology coming as well.

I tried today everyone but I’m not ready yet. I’ll be closing at 1:15 and I’ll be back tomorrow with some incredible help!

When I started Taco House my goal was to use the business as a way to give opportunities to the community. I saw opportunities for personal growth, employment, and for a way to partner with local charities and organizations. Since opening we have donated over $8,000 to the community, that is something that I am extremely proud of. There are so many things that we were able to do because of our community supporters.

It's no surprise to most of you that we have been struggling since September. It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that we will be closing our doors at 8pm on February 24th. We have used every bit of funds we could to keep this going as long as we could with hopes of things picking back up.

I am going to miss so many of you. It isn't hard to walk away from the restaurant; it is hard to walk away from the relationships that have been built. We will be continuing with our Food Trailer, Catering, and Car Shows. We will be changing the name for the food trailer so please stay tuned!

I love you all! You truly have been the best customers. Please stop in as much as you can up until February 25th and please follow our Food Trailer.

Day 7: still feeling under the weather with no end in sight. I feel like it’s moving into my chest. The cough hurts and there’s nothing there.

I’m really sorry this week has been so crazy. I’ve been sick for Christmas since my mom can remember. I am working on some specials to celebrate the first week of the New Year, stay tuned!
