Do you ever wish you were good at something or were gifted in something?.Do you aways feel like you’ll never be good enough? .Are you too afraid to try? .I say yes to all of them about myself. .As an artist, drawing came easy to me, but the imposter syndrome and self doubt are always there. .And that’s not related to drawing, painting, or tattooing. For me it’s also singing, dancing, socializing, making financial decisions, and parenting to name a few..My simple solution to this that I’ve been telling myself is, practice makes perfect. .It applies to everything in life, but especially with art, DO something. Everyday. Even if it’s a scribble. Even if it looks bad..Feel like you won’t be good at it? So just do it..Is something too hard to draw? Our Disney Cruise went by too quickly, but it gave me so many ideas for new tattoo designs! ✨ After a long weekend of rest, I am coming back ready to make some cool tattoos. I did end up having a chance to tattoo at Richmond Tattoo Convention Portrait Sessionsfor a day and had a freaking blast!!! I got to do four tattoos during the 2/3 of Saturday here: my Halloween flash designs including the ghosts which are ever so popular, a Jack-o-lantern drawing I did for Bound By Art, and an otter that I drew a while back. Everything was crazy busy, and there was some learning curve with the different stencil maker they had here, but I loved the whole process! The business, the noise, the crowd, the tight space, etc….I was in truly my element. 😍 Thank you so much for everyone who came out and got a tattoo or two from me!
