The federal Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) requires corporations, limited liability companies, and other similar entities created or registered to do business in the United States to report information to the US government about who ultimately owns and controls them. The CTA is intended to help prevent and combat money laundering, terrorist financing, corruption, and tax fraud. Unless exempt, these entities must file beneficial ownership reports with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a bureau within the U.S. Department of Treasury.

The deadline for most filings is 12/31/24. Significant penalties may apply for failure to submit the report on time.

The PA Property Tax and Rent Rebate form is due to the PA Department of Revenue by June 30 for qualifying senior citizens. Make sure you include copies of all income tax forms, proof of payment for real estate taxes or a certified letter of rent paid, and a copy of your driver's license for first time filers. Missing paperwork will significantly delay your refund.
