Tasha and Brian of from right here in York are setting up a trunk show in the shop Friday July 19 through Sunday July 21.

They are bringing us an exciting selection of their fun yarns. Think Merino/Cotton blend, Polwarth/Silk blend, Fade kits, and Minis! It’s going to be great! Hope to see you all

Little pre-concert knitting!

I’ve been working on embroidery this week. It has been fun! The kit is from and we have it and other designs in the shop. They make a great summer project!

Tomorrow is World Wide Knit in Public Day!!! Everyone is welcome to bring your current WIP and spend the day with us. We will have the tents set up outside the shop from 10:30 to 4 pm, but please bring a chair.
The forecast is perfect for tomorrow, but if that changes we will move inside.
Bring your knitting, crochet, spinning, tatting, embroidery, or what ever you are working on. We hope to see you!

It’s World Wide Knit in Public Day! and it’s not just for knitting. Bring your current project (knitting, crochet, tatting, or whatever!) and show your love of fiber! Please bring a chair, and a beverage. We will have the tents set up outside.

It’s always a fun event. The forecast looks perfect for Saturday, but if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will move inside.

We have new point protectors (Look at those border collies!) and cute mushroom stitch markers waiting for you at the shop this week!

I finished something! It’s my Emotional Support Chicken. I’ve never crocheted anything like this before and was a little nervous about it, but I am happy with how she turned out! Thinking about doing a knit one next. She needs a name, got any suggestions?

Shop guy and I had a couple of days off this week. There was yarn and there was beer. It was a good couple of days!

New month, new color! I just finished the April section on my Solstice Wrap ( ) and am starting the May section! Thanks to for all the beautiful CoM yarn.

It was wonderful to see everybody this weekend for LYS Day! Thank you so much for all of your support. We are grateful everyday for all of you!

Casapinka is sharing a new patternn for LYS Day with us again this year. The pattern is called the “Fidget Cowl”. It takes 2 colors of fi*****ng weight yarn. We will have coupons available to download the pattern from Ravelry with the purchase of yarn to knit the cowl.

In addition to LYS Day, it is also Go Green in the City so Beaver Street will be blocked off on Saturday only/not Sunday. But fear not, parking is available in the Central Market lot/garage across from White Rose, the West Philadelphia garage across from the Appell Center, the York City garage off of King Street, and finally the Market Street garage across from the Yorktown Hotel.

Saturday (4/27) is LYS Day and we are looking forward to seeing everyone! We have a couple of specials running all weekend! First up is a new limited edition color from in Socknado called Celebration! It’s a beautiful spring colorway. It was designed to look like cherry blossoms.

It’s April and we have a new Color of the Month from . Sadly though, I have almost finished the April section of my throw. Love how it is turning out! What do you think?

At the shop all this weekend, 4/12-4/13, Kayla from will be visiting with her beautiful, wonderful, and gorgeous yarns. You might be able to tell we really like Kayla and are excited to have her visit!!!! Plan to stop by and say hello and of course pick up some of her yarns!!!

The new yarns for spring are arriving and we need to make space for them, so we are extending the extra 20% off clearance yarns until 4/15. Stop in and shop the bargains!

This weekend we are open regular hours Friday (10 to 7pm) and Saturday (10 to 5pm) and closed Sunday for Easter. On Saturday, the Girl Scouts will be out in front of the shop from 9 to 2pm with cookies! Hope to see you all soon!

I finished the March section of my Solstice Wrap! This is so much fun to work on. Did you know that Tasha and Brian of are basing this year’s CoMs on their trip to Scotland last year? Loving the colors!

It’s starting to look like spring and that means spring yarns will be here soon! Sadly, the shop is full, so for the rest of March all the clearance yarns are an extra 20% off! (Reductions are taken at the register and clearance sales are final).
