Hello EYVC family. Due to the increasing number of kennel cough cases in boarding facilities in the area, we are now requiring all boarders to have the Bordetella vaccine every 6 months instead of yearly. If you have a boarding stay coming up please call to verify that your pet is up to date prior to your stay. Thank you for you cooperation!

Meet LEATHERFACE. here are some fun facts about one of our clinic pets!
• Black Pastel Leopard Mojave Ball Python
• Scientific name of species-python regius
• Native to the Sub Saharan Africa
• Called ball pythons they will curl into a ball to protect their head when they feel
threatened/scared
• Mostly nocturnal
o Spend the day hiding in burrows but will explore more at night
• Life expectancy- 15-25 years
• Average size between 4-6 feet
• Non-venomous constrictor
• Ambush predators
• Diet- small rodents and mammals
We love to teach the importance of proper pet care to all ages! Dr.Nelson had a critical exam today for Gilbert. Gilbert is one of our staff member's daughter's stuffed animals that needed an exam for a broken hind leg. Dr.Nelson took time during her break to ensure that our younger generation understands pet care and bringing their animals to the vet.
So meet Gilbert she is loved by our staff and her sweet 4-year-old owner.

This sweet face is "Cooper" He was seen by Dr. Moussa today for his first Heartworm treatment. He won over our Practice Manager and spent the day recovering and helping manage EYVC. He helped place our supply order, and attended our monthly all-call meeting! We love to make your fur babies feel at home while in our clinic.
FUN FACT FRIDAY! Did you know that here at EYVC we love exotics! Meet some of our Exotic staff members. Crested Geckos named- Echo & Murphy, White's Tree Frogs named -Pickle & Pepper, Axolotls named Freddy & Jason, and a black pastel leopard mojave ball python named- Leather Face. Come in and visit our exotic staff members. We will be doing Fun Fact Fridays the next few Fridays with interesting information highlighting our exotic staff members.
Tomorrow we are celebrating International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day in the best way! Come in tomorrow for an appointment, picking up medications or food and your 4 legged friend will get a bag of treats. We won't forget the cats they will get treats too!

Hi, our names are Maximillion and Gizmo! Gizmo is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu with one eye who loves to cuddle (he’s a mama’s boy). Maximillon is a 4-year-old Yorkie Mix, he was found in Baltimore after being hit by a car and brought into the clinic. He’s a little troublemaker but we love him
