ROTARY TEAMS UP WITH DREAMS FOR KIDS PROGRAM
“The Rotary Club of Yucca Valley has teamed up with the Basin Wide Foundation’s “Dream for Kids” program this year to provide 50 children with a great Christmas, said Club President Patti Brown.
We are pretty excited that we are able to step up as we know there were about 350 kids that have been placed in CPS care from our Basin this year and so the club voted to step forward and adopt 50 children” she added.
The Rotary Club’s Miss Yucca Valley court and pageant advisors John and Patti Babrowski went shopping and our local Ross Store was a huge help in getting all this shopping done. They provided us our own personal shopping assistants, cashiers and this huge job was done in two shopping trips. The packages were then placed into large gift bags for each child, labeled and brought to the Basin Wide Foundation for delivery.
Merry Christmas from Yucca Valley Rotary!
