The Road to Real Estate
I was born and raised in a small town outside of Chicago, Illinois. I was always fascinated with the architecture and skyline of Chicago. My mom and dad were both born and raised, my mom being a south-sider, and my dad grew up in the shadows of DePaul University on the north side. We rooted for the Cubs and the Bears... and weekend trips to “the City” were a favorite time for us kids. We loved the park, the zoo, the sounds and noises a big city brings. The one thing I did not like, was the cold, hard winters. I ended up in Palm Springs and have never looked back.
My career path took me thru retail management, glorified data entry with a cable company, and a very brief period in the food industry.
Unfortunately, my time with the cable company came to an end as of December 29th, 2017. I found myself unemployed for the first time since I started working at age 14. It was definitely one of those times in your life for reflection and in my case, PANIC!
After dragging my feet for a few years, and luckily with some nudging from friends and family, and especially a broker friend, , I finally got the courage and just enough push to get my real estate license.
