Spot 805 February Karaoke Competition!!

So, these are the competition rules of the new show, everyone!! Signups start tomorrow and the link will be posted on both Taterwulf Entertainment and Spot 805 pages.

February 15th is the first competition night, but a winner will not be announced this night. Semi-Finals/Finals will be on Feb 22nd and will be decided by a panel of judges, not by the crowd. Feel free to bring your squad/group/family or friends to cheer you on!

📢📢 Here are the rules! 📢📢

⭐️Karaoke Competition night(s) are the second to last Wednesday and last Wednesday of the month. For February, those dates are 02/15 and 02/22. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be determined at the end of the night on the last Wednesday of the month by a panel of judges.

⭐️If you signed up, please be on time to the event. The competition starts at 8pm. If you're more than an hour late, you may be disqualified from the competition.

⭐️You must go to Facebook and/or Instagram and Like/Follow both Spot 805 and Taterwulf Entertainment. We do all of our promotion and announcements on Social Media, so this is best for everyone.

⭐️You MUST sign up using this form prior to the competition. We will not allow late additions to make it fair to those who signed up early. This is to ensure everyone who wants to compete has enough time to perform their songs.

⭐️Although we appreciate the incredible talent of our local musicians and singers, we ask that you do not sing original content in the contest. If there’s a song you want to sing and you don’t see it in our songbook, send us a message on Social Media to see if we can source it for you before the competition. If you have the karaoke track (MP3+G format) and you’d like to use that, please submit it to [email protected] prior to the competition to ensure we have the time to load it into our system and have it ready for you. You can also use the song request form (look on our social pages for the link) to pre-request your songs for the competition. Please make sure you use the same name/group name in that request so we can accurately link those song requests to your competition entry.

⭐️You are allowed to sign up as a single singer or a group in this competition with the following restrictions: If you're competing as a single singer, you cannot also be in a group or sing with a group during the competition. This goes for group singers. You cannot also compete as a single singer if you're already signed up as a group.

⭐️Group competitors must come up with a name for your group and use that for the entire competition. Please sign up as this group name in place of a First/Last name on the sign up form.

⭐️Group competitors must perform together if they're signed up together. Make sure everyone in your group is on time and stays for the duration of the competition!

⭐️If you're in a group and you win the contest, the grand prize is still $500. You must decide amongst yourselves how to split that prize.

⭐️Judging is based on multiple factors: Your stage presence, use of the stage in your performance, vocal performance, lyrical accuracy and timing. Practice your songs well and rock the house!

🥉3rd Place Prize is $50

Signups will start TOMORROW, Feb 1st and will close on Sunday Feb 12th at 11:59 Pacific. No additional competition requests will be accepted after this date.
