Isabel has joined Yuma Acne Clinic! With over 7 years of experience she is exceptional at anti-aging facials, dermaplaning, micro needling, full body waxing, lash lifts, lash and brow tinting and overall all of your skin care needs.

Bringing someone new to a small business is no easy task, but as I spoke to her I knew she had the same ideals, values and customer service my customers deserve. She strives to continue her education and excelling in the industry. I’ve had various calls of clients already booking with her and that’s how I know I got lucky she fell just at the right time to Yuma Acne Clinic. Acne scarring treated with products and treatments.

Acne scarring can be difficult to treat it we are treating more than just hyperpigmentation (red marks left over after acne is cleared)

When we are treating ice pick scars, boxed scars etc we have to reverse the loss of collagen and elastin and in some cases depending on the clients age it is very difficult. This client had youth on his side so we were able to achieve these beautiful results with just home care, chemical peels and patience!

We never did a microneedling treatment on him, but his results would definitely be elevated if we did a series of them. However, you don’t always need to do aggressive treatments with the youth and this is a perfect example of how far good quality products and in clinic treatments can get you.

And I’m going to have major hip surgery next month 😩 Fun Fact about me, I used to be a dance/fitness instructor for 12 years, until 6 months ago when my hip said enough. 😑 I digress, but I will be out for at least 6 weeks from the clinic while I recuperate and give it my all in physical therapy. Product pick up will still be available throughout this time as I will have family members help with your orders. I will still be available over text and DM for all questions and PLEASE text me…I will be bored 😂. I will no longer take new in person clients effective today, but if you have acne and need to get started please reach out. I will be available for virtual acne consults. You will get all products, protocols and all the information my in person clients get, except the treatments for now, but once I’m back if you book a virtual acne consult you will be guaranteed an in person slot. I have virtual clients in California, Texas, and different areas in Phoenix whom I’ve never treated in person and they are now clear, so it works. Please reach out. Hello clients…the time has come for me to stop accepting new anti-aging clients. I have a high demand thanks to you and all of your referrals, but need my focus to remain on quality versus quantity.
If you are a current anti-aging client DO NOT WORRY! You are not affected by this. If you are already booked and are a new client your appointment will NOT be cancelled as you are now considered a current client. This decision was not made lightly. Anti-aging will always be a passion of mine, but Yuma Acne Clinic was built on the premise to help those with acne, who are physically and emotionally affected by this condition. Currently, new acne clients are having to wait months to get in to see me. As a former acne sufferer, I know that even waiting a week to get the help one needs can seem like a lifetime and it really affects one’s socialization skills, mental and physical health. Those Yuma peeps need me and they deserve my time and attention as this business was built for “them.” Thank you for your understanding! Teenager facial. Meet Carlee who just turned 12 and had her first ever facial yesterday. We went over the importance of cleansing her skin, moisturizing and spf which are the foundations to any skincare routine regardless of the issues. With clients this young you only want to give them a 2-3 step routine, making it easy for them to get them to actually do it. Even if it’s just cleansing their skin it’s a start. Carlee had a teen deep pore facial because she is starting to get blackheads. Her AM routine will be 1. Gentle cleanser, 2) moisturizer and 3) spf. Her PM routine will be 1) Gentle Cleanser 2) moisturizer. It’s never too late or too early to start investing in your skin and her Mema (grandma ) just gave her the precious gift of jump starting her facial journey. I LOVE working with teens, even though they are the most challenging as far as compliance goes, but just look at the faces they make throughout the facial 😂 P.S. number 6 is my favorite…I promise she wasn’t in pain, she was just being Carlee 🤣

A 3 week before and after progress client. While we still have a ways to go, this beauty has really been super strict with her homecare and followed all of my tips. We did this in 3 weeks. SHE did this in 3 weeks! With the right tools and homecare products specific for her skin, anything is quite possible.

Super excited to announce that I will now be carrying an acne safe foundation line. Illuminare liquid mineral foundation is lightweight vegan, gluten free and safe for sensitive skin types. Packaging is also recyclable. I personally have used this foundation for about 4 years and love it’s buildable coverage. I can go from sheer to full coverage makeup by adding light layers without the “cakes” feeling in my skin. I will also be retailing their brushes which are so amazing and soft and their liquid blush. And the cherry on top: this foundation also has an spf of 20 😆 since I can’t seem to ever stop posting about sunscreen 🤗. I will have testers and samples to purchase as well so you can try the concealer, the moisturizer foundation or the matte foundation at home. Can’t wait for you all to try 😊
