How important is a final walkthrough?

Great Question! Wether you are purchasing a new construction home or a resale, you want to make sure you take some time off to attend your homes final walkthrough. This is where you as the buyer verify that all repairs have been done ✔️ in the event that they are not you still have time to go back to the seller and have them take care of the items that they agreed to repair before closing. In the event of a new build, builders will often delay items in the punch list due to construction demand, but it typically will get done sometime after closing if not before!

Always inspect the home and make sure the home is in the exact same condition as it was when you went to the showing with the exception of negotiated repairs!
