Replacement cost used to range from $140.00 to $200.00, and we decided to make it the same across the board. We also include full internal cleaning and checking/added thermal compound if needed.

So, I’ve(Joey) had my weeks/days mixed up and today is basically my first parent fail for getting my kids ready for school, as today is open house…. which I forgot..🤦‍♂️.

So, with that being said, we will be closing today at 1pm so I can attend our kids open house for school. I know this is last minute post about this, again, fail on my part getting my weeks/days mixed up.

Again, closing at 1pm today. All jobs that are waiting for parts or pickups today, I will be reaching out with current pickup/waiting times.

Something we haven’t done in sometime, PRICE DROP on A LOT of iPhone repairs and some Samsung. Some iPhones models dropped only around $20.00, but some up to $100.00 price drop. This is something we have been reviewing and going over the last few months, and we decided to pull the trigger and drop prices. This isn’t a sale or temporary price drop, this is NEW CURRENT pricing(unless we see another market price change).

Even though current economic pricing on a lot of other stuff has gone up or sky rocketed in price, we still want to offer the best available parts and prices on repairs. Fortunately, our market pricing has gone down on the majority of parts and we want to offer that saving to our customers too!

Now, we can’t list all the price drops on ever single model, but here are a few examples:

iPhone 12 Pro Max: Old cost $200.00. New cost $160.00
iPhone 13 Pro Max: Old cost $460.00. New cost $ $240.00!!

So unfortunately we are still dealing with major delays with our supplier getting parts/orders shipped out on time. Majority of our orders are usually delivered with in 24hrs, but now we are looking up to 2-3 day delays. Unfortunately we have zero control over this and this will delay almost all repairs as we are still waiting for parts orders to arrive. Could we use other suppliers? Yes. But due to this disruption from one of the biggest suppliers in our industry, it has cause disruption with other suppliers with parts not in stock, or also delaying shipping. We are hoping that everything will get fixed and corrected over the following week, but please keep in mind that if we don’t have the part in stock or it has to be ordered , it could be delayed up to 72hrs before we get it.

To all consumers/owners. If you are a business owner or hobbyist, this can and will affect you not only personally, but even professionally if you use this for business purposes.

Morning.

First off, thank you to everyone for being patient with us over the weekend with me(Joey) being sick. I am better, just still dealing with sinus congestion at the moment.

Now, to the not so good news for this week. One of major suppliers over the weekend has moved warehouses and this has caused a MAJOR problem with shipments getting shipped out on time. This issue has also disrupted other suppliers getting over loaded and also delaying shipments from those suppliers. What does this mean? Well, we are just finding out all this issues this morning and all our orders are stuck in limbo and have not moved. We will be reaching out to all our suppliers and try yo resolve this shipping issues asap.

Also, we will be closed this weekend(Friday 7th and Saturday 8th) due to our youngest son follow-up doctors appointment. With that being said, we will be open on Monday 10th at 10am. Unfortunately this will be a hell week for us, including this heatwave that is moving in, and we are hoping that everything will be resolved and caught by next week.

Joey is sick. Woke with a fever. The office will be closed today and we will hope and pray that he can rid himself of this before Tuesday.

We are starting to see a pattern this year, which we have seen in past years, but definitely worse this year.

First we will say is that our business is not a storage facility and we do have policies in place that after so many days of not picked up, said devices will be considered forfeited and become property of iNerd Repair LLC.

Second, if you do not have means to payment for any repair, no matter what the amount is, do not have us start a repair until you know you have the means of payment ready after the job is completed and ready for pickup.

Third, we understand that the economy has been troublesome this year and some repairs can be questionable if it’s needed. But also keep in mind that we are a small family owned business and we also put the money forward on pretty
much all the repairs that are handled and don’t get paid until the job is done. So with repairs sitting around not getting paid, leaves money waiting for us to collect, which can economical affects to our day to day operations.

So with all that being said, if we see that this pattern continues or gets worse, we will have no choice but to start collecting full payment up front and accounts signed out of devices for security purposes if devices become forfeited to iNerd Repair LLC. This is something we really don’t want to implement but we have had way too many customers not coming in after repairs are done, not having money or waiting until money is available, or not having the time to come in but yet having the time to drop devices off for repair.

We are very open and forward with all our customers, and we would hope that our customers will be the same way with us. But it only takes a few people, sometimes even one, to mess things up collectively as a whole. This post is in no way to bash our customers in any way, this post is to bring light to what we have been dealing with and what could possibly happen if it continues.

Today around 4:30pm, this lovely person who gave us the name of Christina Espinoza decided that she didn’t want to pay, instead decided to sn**ch and grab. She definitely has an amazing Edger hairstyle paired with a nice hickey necklace(apparently hickeys are still a thing). So if you know/know of this person, let them know that they have until tomorrow morning 9am to come in and pay cash for what she didn’t want to pay for and a police report won’t be file. And yes, are cameras are better than Target…🤷‍♂️(also ignore the microwave on the floor, lol.)

Well, we just had a sn**ch and grab at our store right now. Just a heads up, we have full security camera system that covers ALL angles of our business. You may get out of our store, but your face WILL be plastered all over our page and social media.

Yes, we are aware of the social apocalypse going on. And no, we don’t have an answer as to why.
