2 LEVELS of SEWING LESSONS being offered in Zachary

1) BEGINNERS / INTERMEDIATE
2) MAKING/ALTERING CLOTHES

Personalized Individual hands-on sewing lessons. Lessons being offered in Zachary by an experienced seamstress. Lessons will be tailored to FIT your SEWING knowledge & experience PERFECTLY.

1) BEGINNERS / INTERMEDIATE – Lessons will focus on discussion & use of various sewing machines, sergers, & sewing tools, as well as topics such as hand sewing, attaching buttons & zippers, selecting fabrics and threads, etc. Lessons can also include instructions on how to use & clean your own machine. Student will select 2 projects to work on based on current knowledge. Sewing lessons will total 8-hours (broken into 3 sessions). Total cost is $150. Register a friend to attend with you, and they will only pay half-price for the 8-hours.
• The Beginners/Intermediate lessons do NOT require the student to have experience with sewing machines, and the student is NOT required to own their own sewing machine.

2) MAKING/ALTERING CLOTHES – Lessons will focus on learning how to read a commercial pattern, selecting fabrics & notions, cutting out pattern pieces, taking your own measurements, altering commercial patterns, and use of a dress form. Lessons will also focus on hemming altering your current clothes to fit you perfectly. Student may bring their own patterns/fabrics, or their own clothes that need alterations. Each sewing lesson will be a 3-hour session at a cost of $55.
• The Making/Altering Clothes lessons DOES require the student to have some experience with sewing machines and basic sewing knowledge.

Lessons include the use my sewing machines, sewing tools and patterns. Depending on the projects selected, fabrics and threads will be included. If student wishes to bring their own sewing machine, a discount will be given at each lesson.
