While I have a moment to tidy up I thought I’d start with the amps. I’ve added a amp/cab switcher and can quickly change to/from a variety of heads and cabs and also the Tube Amp Expander to record silently if we have a full band in. made cabinets for the switcher and the .rx power regulator.

If you are interested in total guitar geekery I’ll show the signal flow which includes the drive section pedalboard when I get that reworked.

Updated Amp-Speaker Selectors and new models featuring a Reactive Attenuator and built in Impulse Responses are on sale now through Monday.

There are now three options for amp input switching. DIRECT takes the front panel input and sends it directly to the input of the selected amp, bypassing any additional circuitry. ISO, for ISOLATED, sends the input signal through an isolation transformer to eliminate ground loops. When the ground switch is in the left position, the isolation transformer is bypassed entirely and a buffer provides a low impedance output.

New 8x8 stereo model... You can use two input sources like stereo outputs from your pedalboard or two guitars split to two active amps. Flipping the link switch beneath the input jacks will send a single source from Input A to both of the selected amps in Banks A and B.

Amplifier Banks A/B each have up to 4 amps available for a total of 8. Both Banks have attenuator inserts on the rear panel, which can be bypassed with the corresponding front panel switch, as well as an after-amp D.I.

Up to 8 cabs are split into 4s. The Assign switch will determine which set of 4 speakers are sent to which bank of amplifiers. The multi-colored LEDs under the speaker rotaries will match the Bank of amplifiers that it is currently routed to. So you can have Bank A with Speaker A and Bank B with Speaker B, or Bank A with Speaker B and Bank B with Speaker A.

It routes up to 16 preamps, 16 power amps and 16 cabinets in any combination. Other features include an FX loop between the selected preamp and power amp, an attenuator loop and parallel cabs.

New Preamp / Power Amp Selector

Plug in your guitar / pedalboard and send it to any of the up to 4 connected preamps (or modelers) by rotating the Preamp dial. The preamp's output is then sent to the selected Power Amp. Alternatively, one could connect any line level device to the rear panel Power Amp Input jacks. So, one could be assigned to a power amp, another to a recording interface, external FX, etc. There is also an FX loop between the Preamp and Power Amp which can be bypassed on the front panel.
