We recently built a secure and scalable image management system using AWS that uploads and retrieves images quickly, optimizes them for different screen sizes, and delivers them to users near their location. This blog post dives into our five iterations to achieve this final solution.

💪 The Challenge: We needed a fast, secure image management system that could integrate with existing AWS architecture.

🛠️ The Solution: We built a system using S3 for storage, CloudFront for fast and secure delivery, Lambda@Edge for image resizing on the fly, and EventBridge to trigger image generation in the background.

* Uploads and retrieves thousands of images per minute
* Delivers images optimized for user location
* Secure with access control and encryption
