We keep applying full-scale adjustments to the in-game economy. The objective remains the same, we want to equalize research and farm pace and reduce the occurrence of battle overspend (when you spend more credits than receive). Lower-tier changes worked as expected, tanks earned the same amounts of credits, instances of battle overspend went down, and tiers I-VI got balanced.
This is why in update 8.5 we're going to:
⚡ equalize credit ratio for all researchable tanks. It means some of the researchable tanks will farm more or less credits than before. Therefore, overall vehicles' profitability for each tier will become more uniform. These changes won't affect premium tanks.
⚡ make repairs and common shells (the ones you can buy only for credits) free for all tanks (researchable, premium, and collector). To keep the overall profitability the same, we'll reduce credit ratios for those tanks. As a result, the farm pace won't change. However, we'll be ready to apply additional adjustments to certain tanks if needed.
⚡ add a new bonus! From now on Ace Tanker, Top Gun and Kolobanov's Medal will grant you extra credits when playing on tier VI+ tanks. This reward is worth two or three medals! For example, earning those three medals on tier X tanks will give you 250k credits. This will encourage high-skill performances. Also, we'll consider bonuses for other medals in the future.
