Halong Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam near the Chinese border. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 km. This extraordinary area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. For many tourists, this place is like something right out of a movie. The fact is that Halong Bay features a wide range of biodiversity, while the surrealistic scenery has indeed featured in endless movies.
The best way to get to Halong City is by car, minibus or bus from Hanoi which is only 170km away.

Sapa is a mountainous town in Northen Vietnam where you write a poem, have your cameras on for most of your time, cheer over a community wine pot, learn to appreciate indigenous culture or just to escape Hanoi heat and city noise.
During those times of the year, Sapa’s average temperature is around 15*C. In the summer, the sunshine beats down on the town as the coastal plains is around 13*C to 15*C at night and around 20*C to 25*C on the day. The winter is rather chilly, foggy and sometimes snowy with temperatures below 0*C. Sapa has seasonal changing weather with the cool atmosphere around the year. There are enough four seasons in one day here: in the morning, it likes the weather of spring. At noon, it is as sunny and cool as the weather of summer. In the afternoon, the cloud and fog fall make us feel a little chilly as the weather of autumn. In the evening, it is the coldness of the winter. Average annual rainfall ranges from 1,800m to 2,200m, most concentrated from May to August.
