I'm super excited to share that I recently photographed a clothing catalog for Copenhagen Delights. It was a wonderful experience working with this company and the kids at the photoshoot. I'm looking forward to working with them all again soon!

Christmas weddings always carry with them an extra little bit of magic. The warm colors and beautiful decorations truly made this one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen.

It’s been a while since I shot a wedding, then this week, out of the blue, I got hired to shoot two weddings! What a great way to wrap up 2021! Merry Christmas, everyone!

During our last checkup, the nurses discovered that our little one’s umbilical cord was a bit twisted. In order to reduce the possibility of complications further into the pregnancy, we have decided to have a c-section instead of a natural birth. This is not what we had planned for, but we want to be safe. That said, little Aiden will be joining us in just two weeks!! We can’t wait to meet him! ❤️

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Vietnam has seen record low temps this season, with snow accumulation occurring in the northern mountain regions. It is the greatest internal conflict to wish I was there to play in the snow while also longing for the warmth of the sun and beaches in Mũi Né.

For anyone who hasn’t heard yet, I got engaged to this beautiful woman right here. We now have the rest of our lives to make beautiful art together. ❤️

The landscapes in Vietnam are incredibly diverse; the most surprising of which are the sand dunes of Mũi Né. It is shocking to see such a dry area in what is otherwise a very wet country.

Outdoor pools like this are very common in Vietnam, but not many of them have a view like this.

It was honestly so hard to leave Pù Luông. We ended up staying an extra day because I was enjoying it so much. We contemplated staying just one more day but realized we couldn’t escape reality forever. So, we’re back in Hà Nội now, dodging traffic and cooking our own food.

For my last ethics & philosophy class today, my students are discussing their views on justice versus mercy. Which do you think is more important?

Tomorrow is my last day teaching summer school. I am so excited to finally get to travel and relax again! Our first trip will be to Pù Luông. Expect more pictures soon.

The weather in Hà Nội has actually been pretty nice lately. I was warned that summers in Vietnam can be pretty brutal, but although we did have a few extremely hot days, overall it’s been pretty pleasant.

After a yearlong hiatus, I am finally updating my website with some new work. Go check it out and give me some feedback!

I am finally settling into my life here in Vietnam, and I am looking forward to sharing some of my new work with all of you!
