Congratulations to 3 of our Vanuatu Women’s Cricketers who will be playing in the grand finals of the women’s 1st and 2nd grade in South Australia tomorrow Sunday 26 March 2023 in their respective teams.

Selina Solman and Rachel Andrew are playing with the Adelaide cricket club in the women’s 1st grade grand final against Kensington women.

Melissa Fare is playing with Kensington women’s cricket club in the women’s 2nd grade grand final against Sturt women’s.

All 3 players are proud Ni-Vanuatu women who have the opportunity to be playing cricket in South Australia and are great ambassadors for Vanuatu women’s cricket in Australia.

Selina and Rachel are not new to the South Australian cricketing scene especially Selina who has successfully played a number of seasons in SA for the Southern District Stingrays and is later joined by Rachel. Both women are now playing for Adelaide Cricket Club and will be looking to come off the back of their recent successful tournament with the Vanuatu women’s team in Fiji where they placed 2nd in the Pacific Island Cricket Challenge to make an impact in the 1st grade grand final in Adelaide on Sunday.

Melissa has recently moved to South Australia where she is undertaking her university studies at Flinders University. She is currently playing with Kensington Cricket Club’s women’s B team and so far this season, they have won the South Australia Cricket Association’s (SACA) 2022-2023 women’s 2nd Grade T20 premiership and are now in the final for the one day premiership in Adelaide on Sunday.

All 3 of our girls will be competing in their respective grand finals on Sunday 26th of March in Adelaide.

We wish them all the best as they compete and continue to be great ambassadors for Vanuatu women’s cricket! We are proud of them! 🏏🏏🇻🇺🇻🇺

Our Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu Women's Team Captain Selina Solman & all-rounder Rachel Andrew competed against the Intravision ACT Meteors last week in a 3-game series with FairBreak Globals' XI Team. This was an exciting opportunity and experience for women's cricket and women in sports.

We are delighted to announce that our Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu National Women's Captain, Selina Solman, and all-rounder Rachel Andrew will be joining Adelaide Cricket Club in Australia 🇦🇺 for the remainder of the Australian cricket season. Both have also been selected to compete in Canberra FairBreak Global from the 1st - the 4th of February.

It's that time of the year again for our island cricket Mamas to have some fun
This week is the training week for the Mamas hardball community cup competition and we start of the training with the eratap team this morning monday it's absolutely amazing to see all the mama's wanting to try hardball cricket lets go🏏
