Firstly, we have partnered with the University of Iowa on the USAID - US Agency for International Development-funded Activity "Private Sector Partnerships to Strengthen Higher Education."

The hunt for Project Managers has started! 🕵🏼

We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager that is highly motivated, thrives on seeking new insights, finds creative solutions and measures results.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Manager’s main duty is to be in charge of a project from inception to completion, making sure the work gets done in an efficient and satisfactory manner. It is important that the Project Manager closely monitors each project to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, and develop according to plan. Project Manager is responsible not only for identifying project objectives, but ensuring that they’re also met.

Under the supervision of Director of PMO, the Project Manager will execute the duties and responsibilities outlined below:

- Oversee projects from inception to completion, monitor progress and set deadlines;

- Coordinate with team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules;

- Communicate with team members to identify and resolve issues;

- Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information, using multiple platforms;

- Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on the project schedule;

- Manage customer satisfaction within the project transition period;

- Anticipate the risks and tackle the risk’s root cause under the supervision of PMO.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or other related fields;

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;

- Ensure the effective and flexible coordination and implementation of multiple projects;

- Strong leadership capabilities and a demonstrated record of successful leadership of multidisciplinary teams;

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in an Agile environment;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;

- Proven experience in project management;

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes easily;

- Lead project of various sizes and see them through to completion;

- Understand and adapt to the 3CIS culture;

- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Have good knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, and familiarity in one of the following technologies/fields: IP/MPLS Infrastructure, Radio Access Networks, Optical, Linux OS, programming for automation of processes (scripting, Java, Python etc.), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.), Cloud Technologies and understanding of SDN/NFV concepts.

· Knowledge of both written and spoken English is required.
