Client spots that will be opening up in January will be day time appointments only (Monday-Friday). In the event of an evening spot becoming available, I will contact anybody who is added onto an evening appointment waitlist 😊

we added natural blended looking dimension and didn’t go to dark with the base colour, still kept the hair in the “blonde” category but darkened the tone to more of a mushroom blonde shade.

**regarding gift certificates **

As we are coming into our last week here at the salon, some have still been asking what to do about outstanding gift certificates..

- any gift certificates that have been sold and are to be used with myself (Natasha), I will be honouring them as I will still be doing hair from my home salon and I will still be selling gift certificates (cash only for gift certificate purchases).

- anybody who still has gift certificates that are outstanding and to be used with Emily, please contact her directly and you can go from there.

-anybody who still has outstanding gift certificates to be used for services with Jennifer, please contact her directly as well. She will be doing mobile hair services starting in September.

- if you have a gift certificate and not sure who to contact regarding who the services are supposed to be with, please contact us this week and we can check for you - 902-245-8868.
I (Natasha)will not be responsible for any outstanding gift cards with Jennifer or Emily that are not taken care of as they are their own Independent business that operate under the colour loft.

Just a friendly reminder that august 30th will be the last day we are open at this location 92 Warwick street, as of right now all of our schedules are full for the remaining of this month, however you can still book with Jen for a mobile appointment (at your own home) for September and on if you’d like, you can contact her by messaging her personally or you can book with myself (Natasha) for September and on at my home salon.
Starting September 1st you will no longer be able to reach Jen or Emily through this page but I will still be using it for my business and responding to messages for bookings.

Changes as of September 2023⬇️

Now that we have had the chance to tell many of our clients in person, we would like to share this with the rest that we haven’t had a chance to share with in person. In September we will be making some changes, we will be closing this current location 92 Warwick street. Natasha will be continuing with her business as the colour loft located in a salon from her home in Marshalltown, she will continue to see all her clients from there. Emily will no longer be continuing on with her esthetics business from September and on and we encourage you to reach out to her if you have any further questions. Jennifer will be continuing on as a mobile hairstylist in September and will come to who ever wishes to book with her.
Over the duration of the summer we will be in contact with many others that may not see this post and we will be answering any questions you have if you message us, call us or pop in!
If you have any outstanding gift certificates with Jen or Emily that you haven’t used, we also encourage you to call and get booked in to use them up as they will no longer be issuing new gift cards.
Natasha will still be issuing gift cards for hair services with her only and any previous ones issued with her will still be honoured from her home salon as well.
We thank everybody who had supported and still supporting our businesses and we appreciate each and every one of you.
We will all still be at this location until September 1st 2023.

It’s that time of year when the request to be blonde amps up, here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re coming in for an appointment to lighten up your hair 💁🏼‍♀️

▫️prepare to sit 2-4 hours (maybe more depending on your hair)
▫️you may not be able to reach the desired level of lightness in one sitting
▫️integrity and health of the hair comes first
▫️bring snacks- it really can be a process and I’m not about speed, I’m about quality lol
▫️bring pictures for references, during the consultation it’s nice to see visuals that way we both have the same understanding of what you’re looking for

This picture was taken of one of my blonde clients this week, we achieved this blonde look with a combination of foils and balayage (free handing painting on the hair with lightener) this beautiful blonde took roughly a little over 4 hours - colour application, processing time, toning, trim & styled on long thick hair (hair also had some previous blonde highlights).

- this client wanted a low maintenance colour that would grow out without any harsh lines, we went with a more blended look and added in soft gold tones to brighten the hair up.
