UTAH hidden gem 🏜 seriously, you MUST check out Goblin Valley State Park in Utah, as it’s the best Mars-like landscape on Earth 💾(𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫)Tips for Visiting Goblin Valley State Park🗓When to Visit: it is open year-round but I would suggest checking it during Winter, Spring or Fall months, as it gets pretty warm there during summer 🥵🥾Where to Hike: there are multiple trails in this park, but our favorites are Three Sister Trail (1mi) and Curtis Bench Trail (about 2 mi along the ridge of the park, and it offers a nice overview of the whole Goblin Valley. 🎒 What to Bring: plenty of drinking water, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, sturdy hiking shoes with good traction. Remember to check the weather and dress accordingly. ⛺️ Where to Stay: there is no hotel inside the park, but they have 24 campground sites for both RV and tents, and 2 yurts. So if you want to stay in one of these amazing yurts, you will need to book your spot about 4 month in advance. 💰 Entrance Fee: $20 per vehicle 🌌FUN FACT: Goblin Valley has one of the clearest, darkest night skies in the world. 💾(𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫)📍Skyline Drive near Cañon CitySkyline Drive is a very narrow 2.6 mile scenic road that follows the top of a razorback ridge overlooking Cañon City, Colorado.Important: the Skyline Drive is very narrow, with steep inclines and declines. You will be driving along a ridge, with sheer cliffs on either side, and there are no guardrails‼️ All traffic is one way: Once you start down Skyline Drive, you cannot turn around. However there are multiple pull-outs located along the way, so you can take a break. I did this drive with my mom who is visiting us from Ukraine. She said it was truly mesmerizing and most memorable drive she did.
