Meet Gina Lopez, one of our 𝐊𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐞. Ms. Gina served as the Philippine’s DENR Secretary and throughout her life, she has consistently championed for environmental conservation and preservation. She has been at the forefront in fighting against harmful mining practices present in the Philippines. As a prominent leader, she has used her platform to actively advocate not only for environmental justice but also for relevant social issues in the Philippines. ✨

As we welcome the celebration of Ramadan, a period for spiritual growth where Muslims aim to build stronger relationships with Allah (SWT) through reading the Qur’ān, praying, and fasting – the latter being the fourth of the five pillars of Islam.

Let us celebrate this sacred month with peace and forgiveness alongside our Muslim brothers and sisters as we pray for their du’as to be granted by Allah (SWT).

𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗠: The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos, as the National Government Agency tasked to provide accurate information in relation to Muslim Filipinos affairs have officially declared that the Ramadhan 1445 Hijrah will commence on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. This is in relation of the announcement based on the result of the Moonsighting activities conducted by the NCMF whereas it has been reported that there is NO SIGHTING of the New Moon (Hilal).

The second sub-project for this project series is Speakers Database. Speakers Database is a student service project that offers organizational and individual help to every student who requires speakers in their project. They may refer to this project to search for the possible speakers.
