A próxima etapa do ARWS Brasil Series, que acontecerá em São João D'Aliança na região da Chapada dos Veadeiros (GO) será a 3º Etapa do Circuito. Expedición Guaraní the next qualifier adventure race in South America

¡Prepárate para una aventura inolvidable en Expedición Guaraní 2024!
Este año, la carrera promete un desafiante circuito compuesto por 7 emocionantes etapas con un total de 343km que pondrán a prueba tu resistencia y habilidades:

🌄 3 etapas de trekking: Las secciones de trekking serán las más desafiantes de la carrera. Tendréis que caminar por sendas, esteros y pastizales, cruzar o avanzar por arroyos, trepar saltos de agua e incluso abriros camino por el medio del bosque. En una de las etapas habrá una actividad de cuerdas con descenso (todos los miembros del equipo) y ascensos (1 integrante del equipo)

🚴‍♂ 2 etapas de MTB: Rodaréis por caminos principalmente de tierra, arena y empedrado y en lugares muy variados, pasando de zonas con amplias llanuras a suaves colinas e incluso llegando a serranías con subidas y bajadas cortas pero bien pronunciadas. .

🚣‍♀ 1 etapa de kayak: El kayak se realizará en río. En algunas partes, la corriente os ayudará a progresar más rápido.

🏞 1 etapa de trekking con gomón: Habrá una sección que combinará trekking con gomón en arroyo.
Tendréis que llevar el equipo habitual para las etapas de kayak..

It is now afternoon on Day 6 of PC12 Adventure Race. There are still a few teams still out but they should reach the finish within the next few hours.

Congratulations to Papacara Saludsa Vitality on their 2nd place finish.

Papacara Saludsa Vitality have completed PC12 Adventure Race in 2nd place. They crossed the finish line at about 02h30 (Friday morning, Colombia is GMT -5). They arrived at the finish on their bikes - there is a strong wind blowing that has made the final paddle unsafe. Felicitaciones Papacara.

Race winners Vidaraid Adventure Team may have reached the finish a few hours ago, but the race is not over. Papacara is now in 2nd place ahead of Life Adventure. Lg 10 MTB (145km) is proving to be very challnging. This is some news from the race.

Team Vidaraid Adventure Team need to keep it together for another 8km of kayaking to cross the finish line at PC12 Adventure Race.

Race leaders at PC12 Adventure Race are on the final leg, an 8km paddle to the finish line on the beach. This should take them around 90 minutes.

Vidaraid Adventure Team still dominates the front of the race at PC12 Adventure Race. Th sun will be up soon to start Day 5.

Live online tracking on Leg 10 MTB (145km) is already interesting. There are a number of teams at TA9 who will be starting this leg in the dark, and they will cycle through the night. Keep an eye on the tracking and let us know if you see anything interesting.

Vidaraid Adventure Team is making swift progress and they have a strong lead on this 4th day at PC12 Adventure Race.

In two hours the sun will come up on Day 4 at PC12 Adventure Race. Teams continue to move forward through the darkest hours of the night. These images by Guillermo Gutierrez are from Day 3.

There is not much daylight left of Day 3 of PC12 Adventure Race and most of the teams, except for race leaders Vidaraid Adventure Team are out on Leg 7 Kayak (80km). This is a very long section that will see some teams out on the water for more than 30 hours. VidaRaid are currently the only team on Leg 8 Trek (15km).
