Attacking a law enforcement officer is UNACCEPTABLE. Anyone who does that should be met with the full force of the law. I introduced the COPS Act to INCREASE penalties for anyone who assaults an officer in the line of duty. I’ll ALWAYS back the blue. 🇺🇸

FAIR OAKS RANCH ➡️ This week, I submitted a funding request to improve road infrastructure in Fair Oaks Ranch. This important project will improve traffic flows and make commutes across Bexar County much safer. I’ll always be a partner to communities across #TX23.

SAN ELIZARIO ➡️ I’m proud to support a funding request for a new community center in San Elizario! This facility will improve economic opportunities and provide a new space for afterschool programming in El Paso County. #TX23

UVALDE CISD ➡️ Proud to announce I’ve selected a $10 million funding request from Uvalde CISD to improve school security across several campuses in the area. Keeping our children safe in the classroom is a top priority of mine, and I look forward to working with Uvalde CISD to get this project over the finish line.

TERRELL/BREWSTER COUNTIES ➡️ I’m proud to announce I submitted a funding request to improve law enforcement communications across West Texas. 🇺🇸 I’ll always stand by our men and women behind the badge in #TX23. ⬇️

EAGLE PASS ➡️ Proud to have submitted a funding request for new road infrastructure in Eagle Pass. This project will pave the way for an expanded and improved Sul Ross university campus in the area! This is a HUGE opportunity for #TX23. Eagle Pass, you have my full support for this project!

SOCORRO PD ➡️ This year, I selected a funding request from the Socorro Police Department to upgrade equipment and secure a mobile command center. I will ALWAYS back the blue in #TX23! 🇺🇸

LACKLAND AFB➡️ This year, I selected a funding request to help construct new classrooms and a dining facility at JBSA-Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. This project will support THOUSANDS of new recruits at JBSA-Lackland. I’ll always support our #TX23 military installations. 🇺🇸

REEVES COUNTY ➡️ This year, I selected a $10 million funding request to construct new housing units for law enforcement and first responders in Pecos. This will greatly improve West Texas’ ability to recruit emergency responders and improve public safety in the area. #TX23

MEDINA COUNTY ➡️ This year, I selected a $6.1 million funding request to support law enforcement in Medina County. This project will greatly enhance radio communications in the area and improve public safety across the region. I will always be a partner to our #TX23 communities!

HUDSPETH COUNTY ➡️ This year, I selected a $4 million community project funding request to construct a new community center for Hudspeth County. This new facility will promote youth agriculture programs, provide a space for afterschool programming, and support agriculture economic development. I will always fight for #TX23!
