Nakiri in mild steel and Aogami 2 sanmai. This is the first heat - forge weld the layers, start forging the Nakiri shape, cut a notch for the tang and cut off the blade. We aim for three more heats at the most - one for the tang, two to complete forging the blade.

It was expertly crafted by @twosticksforge and I had honestly never used anything quite so sharp! It is such a pleasure to use, and a beautiful thing to keep.
