Everyone is a winner who participates in our races.

Reason we capped the race was to ensure everyone had a medal. We ordered extra in case of that scenario but we wanted to ensure everyone who crossed that line got a medal. We would rather be left with a few dozen extra medals then one person without one. It is important to us if you finish our race you get a medal.

Congrats to our adaptive athlete overall winners. Ray Stelly set a new course record for the adaptive athlete division with a time of 42:31.

The kids K was so tight at the finish it needed a photo finish. Both Sophie and David ran so hard the finish line photo of them high fiving each other was so heartwarming.

Our Neches Challenge winners didn't disappoint. We were debating getting lighter watermelons but decided to find the biggest ones available. We had a 12 year old claim a watermelon and from some insider knowledge he actually found it early after the 1 mile mark. Having to carry it for over 2 miles! Amazing.

What a whirlwind of a day for the Neches Labor Day 5k.

This year in addition to our amazing volunteers we also added a few additions that made the craziness of putting on a race much more enjoyable. First was the addition of the voice of running, Jon Walk, who announced our race and really helped everything run smoother so that Willie and myself could meld into the background and get alot of the behind the scenes things done.

Another addition was the Jefferson County Amateur Radio Club who were all over the course giving us important info with a press of a button, alleviating any worry we had.

Thank you all so much for running with us and congrats to everyone. We really do want to give yall the best race experience that you could get in any big city.

Wow the weather worked out amazing.

If you use the shirts out on the sun those colors really pop. If you did the race let's see those shirts and tag us.

It's Official the Neches Labor Day 5k is Sold Out!

Here is a sneak peak at some of the awards we will be handing out. Our Overall Male and Female Winner will get a 3 Bros Hat to Sport. We will have one golden watermelon that the winner will get a free entry to Sea Rim Striders Turkey Trot.

Thank you all for your interest in our race. There will be no race day registration and closing the Kids K registration at midnight tonight. We hope you join us for our next race The Big Pumpkin Run in Orange, TX this October 5th.

Got word from our Timer he is bringing 15 more timing chips and bibs.

We did order extra bibs but if time constrains aren't possible we will use timers generic bibs. I am hoping we can put those new timing chips on our custom bibs we ordered but if not you will still be able to run our race and be timed. We still have plenty of shirts but you may not get your size. Every finisher will have a medal when they cross that line.

If you haven't signed up yet you have a second chance. Once these last 15 are filled we will close registration.

We have one spot left for the 5k and 23 spots left for the Kids K. I am still waiting from our timer if it is possible for us to open 15 more spots.

At 3 Bros, we love being creative with our races and always strive to make our participants feel special. I probably spent more time on this than I planned last night, but I wanted to match the effort your kids put into their designs. I loved every single one—it was so cool to see what they came up with!

After the race, we’ll have stickers available at the volunteer table. If your child’s design was turned into a sticker, we’ll reserve one for them. All other stickers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until they're gone.

We have a dedicated parking page on our website with Google Maps links to direct you to the correct parking areas. Please park only in the suggested spots, as we do not have permission to park in other areas.

We recommend arriving early! If you're planning to pick up your packet on race day, please be patient. We’re expecting a sell-out crowd, so there may not be race day registration available. Please wear your bibs in the front. Look out for other updates through email.
