LOTR MUG• I’ll let you in on a little secret, not only did I speed up the footage of this process, I also only included 1/5 of it! 🙈 this is the glazing process. It takes FOREVER. I hate it. Truly, I do 😂 but it is the cherry on top and super necessary for the piece. Eventually I’d like to make my own glazes so I can do without painting on each layer, but for now, this is what I have access to! {SIDE NOTE: bonus points to anyone who can comment and name what the carved image is on this mug!) . . . #lotr #artoftheday

‼️Pottery Tip: You can pre-dry your pieces in the oven! I did mine at about 190 degrees F• for three hours, then did an hour of preheat in the kiln, and it saved me from having to wait several days to fire them. SUPER nice.
