Our heads have been in a couple of research papers this week. We’ve been discovering some incredible potential merits of our sanitising water for skin. Turns out it could be so much more than a powerful disinfectant. Researcher Lorrain Smith and her team of scientists looked into the antiseptic actions of Hypochlorous Acid (or sanitising water as we like to call it) and it’s application for wound healing. We’ll admit the paper was really old so we dug deeper for something a bit more up to date. In 2007 another group of researchers pretty much concluded the same thing. They said that stabilised sanitising water (like ours) has “potential pharmaceutical applications in the control of soft tissue infection”. Of course we’ve still got a long way to go before we can officially make a pharmaceutical claim. But we think it’s pretty promising nevertheless. For those of us with dry cracked hands and/or eczema that still need to sanitise when out and about, it makes TOTAL sense to use our sanitising water which *may* help heal the skin too.
