According to a shloka of Charak Samhita, Giloy is one of the main herbs with a bitter taste. It is used in various disorders and also helps alleviate Vata and Kapha dosha
It is an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic herb which helps to boost your immunity to fight against the infection and also helps in early recovery. Giloy has a Javarghana (antipyretic) property to reduce fever.

Black pepper(kali mirch): Kalimirch is beneficial for cough and respiratory problems due to its antitussive (relieving cough) and anti-asthmatic properties.

Yasti Madhu: Yashtimadhu has expectorant propertiesMulethi is therapeutically helpful in sore throat, throat irritation, cough, and bronchitis.

Tulsi: Tulsi is very effective in the treatment of various respiratory diseases, including chronic and acute bronchitis.
The immunomodulating properties of Tulsi help against cough. With its antiviral, antibacterial and anti-fungal activities, Tulsi helps in the management of respiratory infections. Anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties Tulsi help in the treatment of allergic diseases of the airways.

Ginger: Ginger also helps to reduce the symptoms of cough, cold, and body ache due to its Vata-Kapha balancing nature. Consuming ginger before taking meals can help stimulate the taste buds of the tongue and provide relief in sore throat.

🌺The Vakratunda Mahakaya mantra is a popular Ganesha mantra that invokes Lord Ganesha’s blessings. Lord Ganesha is the first lord to be worshipped according to Hindu Mythology.

🌺Ganesha, also called Ganapati, is the god of wisdom, discretion, and salvation.
Ga means “knowledge”, 
na means “salvation”, and 
isha and pati mean “lord”.
His illustration is universal.  

Ganesha teaches us to respect small objects, small people in our lives. He teaches us to leave aside burden of our big egos and to ride on a right path in life.

7 ways to Incorporate Ayurveda in Your Life.

☘The basic principle followed in the Ayurvedic system of medicine is "Swasthyashya Swasthya Rakshanam," which means to maintain the health of the healthy.

For that Follow some Basic Ayurveda Principles ⬇️

1)BRAHMAMUHURTA wake up.
The healthy person should get up (from bed) during brahma muhurta, to protect his life. (Astanga Hrdayam, Vol.I, 2:1).
A healthy individual should wake up approximately 96 minutes before sunrise to stay healthy. Try to wake up on same time every day.

2)Do Vyayam:
शरीरायास जनकं कर्म व्यायाम उच्यते
Doing Vyayam as form of yoga,walking,running gym etc atleast for 15 to 30 min or until you sweat and to be done half of body capacity.

3)Abhyanga (self oil body massage)
Alteast for once or twice days in week.
Or you can apply oil on all joints, face,leg and abdomen area
Oil: sesame oil

4)Follow Seasonal Rituals (Live as per Season-ritucharya)
There are 6 seasons mentioned in Ayurveda.
One should have Proper Lifestyle and diet as per Ritu (season)

5)For Better Gut Healt:
Acharya Charaka, one of the principal contributors to Ayurveda, recommends leaving 1/3 space for food, 1/3 for liquids and leaving the remaining 1/3 empty every meal time. You should never leave the table feeling full of stomach

6)First Nature's call
Give priority to first attain Nature's call p*e, p**p 💩

7)Live in Present with Gratitude
🧘‍♀️Mindful Living through Meditation
Gratitude For whatever you have.

Shrvan maas & Ayurveda

🔸️Shravan(શ્રાવણ માસ):Fifth month of the hindu calendar and people get extremely religious, as its considered to be very auspicious month
Lord Shiva is worshipped to be pleased fullest in this month.

🔸️Ayurveda & Shravan month:
The ayurveda aspect of Shravan – Monsoon is a time when nature is cleansed by the burst of clouds from sky in the form of rains.

➡️During Monsoon time in atmosphere as well in our body Vata dosha(air) aggravated and Our Digestive Fire(agni) gets weaken.that leads to slow metabolism and deposition of kapha in the body. In all the body gets weaker and strongly prone to diseases
So aim Behind for us to maintain our Health we need to keep our dosha and agni in Balance.

➡️During Shravan we used to take below diet and follow some of restrictions
•No Meat(Non veg),eggs,
•No Garlic onion

•One meal a Day(OMAD)
   •Fruits
  •Farali Upvas day.

➡️Fasting or eating less helps in living more if done properly during this month. The main aim of fasting is to detoxify the body and learn self control. So the diet to be followed should be such that it is easy on metabolism and making the body more healthy and energetic.

➡️The vata not only gets aggravated in the body but also affects the mind. 🧘‍♀️Spirituality is a means to control the unstable mind to achieve mental and physical balance. And hence the bringing of festivities came in to existence in this month, to get people to be social in celebration and religious in their acts of eating and living. To bring harmony in body and mind even with aggravated vata around. At least we can say that the fear of god gets one to act wise.

I really Like my traditional Food. I am not so crazy about any fancy diet.
As indian Thali always accomplish with sufficient nutrients.
As Ayurveda believe that complete food always have 6 tastes in it.
So don't blame our traditional Food.
(That has too much carbs,ghee or oily ,suger High calories etc).
Proud to eat your traditional food
Always remember if you consume in moderate amount & eat only as per your Digestive capacity
You will never feel regret on food. Because food only became devil when you consume a lot without knowing your capacity.

Significance of Gauri vrat or Gorma vrat:
In Gujrat, it is also known as Aluna(અલુણા),
Jaya pravati vrat, gora.

👧Gauri Vrat is an important ritual performed by unmarried women and young girls in the month of Ashadha. it started on July 20 ends on July 24. The Vrata is dedicated to Goddess Parvati.

🔸️In this vrat Girls can only eat Fruits, Dry Fruits, Milk, wheat once a day.
NO SALT.

When I was 👧girl I remembered I usually dressed up well (Gujrati traditional cloth )n went to the temple for 5 days That time I wasn't aware about the reason but some of my childhood friends told me this👉 to get "Smart Handsome Husband"🤣
(I know this is literally non-realistic but work for me😉)
👩But the Real immense Beauty of this vrat I get to know after my graduation..
I want to share with you some amazing facts & Health Benefits about this Vrat

1)Give clear skin complexion.
You can see Clear face & smooth skin texture. NO EVIL PIMPLE
(Because of not taking spicy, salty masala items)

2)Feeling Of Lightness:
When you fast, you eat less than regular, reducing the burden to your digestive organs, so you feel very light inside your body.

3)Digestion Is On Happy state:
When you eating all the time as per Ayurveda our digestive power (Agni) gets low or sometimes in imbalance state that leads to creating toxins in body. After doing fast you Agni is in equilibrium mode. When you have Good Digestion. Helps in build Good Metabolism and your foods get easily break down, absorb and assimilate as well.

4)Control Over Mind.
When you Go on some strict Fasting only one can do if you have Control over your Mind. If your mind is Fully in control Automatically Your senses get in Control.

Effect on body.
Consume Over use of any specific Taste

🍦SWEET TASTE(मधुर रस):
obesity, diabetes , parasites, obstructed circulation, eye inflammation, indigestion, vomiting, gas, lethargy, respiratory congestion, and other Kapha-type disturbances.

🍋SOUR TASTE(अम्ल रस):
Burning sensations, itches, giddiness, premature hair aging and looseness of body tissues, suppuration

🧂SALTY TASTE(लवण रस):
Inflammation, edema, easy bleeding, skin diseases including herpes and hives, joint disease, impotence, early wrinkling of the skin, early baldness.

🌶PUNGENT TASTE (कटु रस):
Pain, Pre-mature hair greying,
Hairloss, dryness of the mouth, debility, emaciation, burning sensations, fever, increased thirst, Pitta related diseases

🫑BITTER TASTE(तिकत रस):

All Vata diseases including numbness, emaciation, cutting or breaking or colicky pain, giddiness, headache, stiffness, tremors, decreased sexual secretions

🥒ASTRINGENT TASTE(कषाय रस):
All types of Vata disturbance, constipation, dryness of the body, thirst

Today is the eleventh day of the lunar cycle, also called ‘Ekadashi’. (Kamika Ekadashi )
In gujarati અગિયારસ
•There are two Ekadasis in a month, one during Shukla Paksha and another during Krishna Paksha.
👩My Fasting day.

WHY DO WE KEEP FASTING ON EKADASHI?

🔸️According to Ayurveda, Fasting is one of the great practice for detoxifying body and mind.

🔸️When the stomach is kept empty the toxins(aam) in the body get cleared..

🔸️Same for Mind.Spend some time for spiritual practice like Chanting Mantras , Meditation, Reading books(lord Narayana). That will help to keep Mind relax and calm.

🔸️Some choose to observe a strict Ekadashi Vrat, without consuming any food or water and

🔸️Some observe this fast by consuming fruits or Phalhaar – juices, milk products, tea, etc.,

🔸️Depending on their Prakruti(Vata,pitta,kapha), strength of their body, and willpower. Eating grains and cereals of any kind is prohibited during Ekadashi Fasting.

🔸️एकादशीनां सर्वासां कर्तव्यं व्रतमादरात्
Ekadashi is the best of all fasts.

So Try to keep Fasting atleast twice in a month or you can keep once in a week..
Don't make your stomach as continous working factory.Sometime Give time for relax.. Allow body to Heal.

Internal uses of aloe vera:
Aloe Vera medicinal properties

Rasa (taste) – Tikta (bitter)
Guna (qualities) – Guru (heaviness), Snigdha (oily, unctuous), Picchila (sticky, slimy)
Vipaka- Katu – Undergoes pungent taste conversion after digestion.
Veerya – Sheeta – Cold potency
Effect on Tridosha – Balances all the three Doshas.
Part Used- Leaves
Action:Bhedani , vata har, pleehahar,yakruthar,raktapitta har
So mainly used in Constipation, female related diseases etc.

But be careful while consuming aloevera juice without any supervision.

It has Ropan (healing) property. 

🔸️External Uses of Aloevera Gel:🔸️
1)Acne:aloe vera gel + pinch of Turmeric
2)For Small Burns area: Direct apply Aloe vera gel or pulp
3)For Dandruff: Aloe vera gel+2 drops lemon juice Before bath
4)Pregnancy stretch mark: Aloe vera gel+ 2 drops coconut oil.
Start apply from 3rd month to post delivery of 2 month.

Aloe vera Pulp can be use as a fresh moisturizer and skin softener.
