Real life Buddy meets his dad for the first time! Doug Henning of Maine was able to find and locate his father on an ancestry site after 43 years of life. Henning says he was raised by a very amazing adoptive family, but wanted to know more about his personal background. Just like the movie, Elf, Henning's biological father didn't even know he had a son. Henning decided to have fun when he met his dad for the first time in person. He decided to dress up like Buddy the Elf and sing just like Buddy did in the movie when he picked up his father in the airport. Henning may be 43, but it looks like his dad will have his hands full with this guy! But I am sure he is blessed to now know his son.

How awesome is this! Chief Raymond Garivey and another officer with Freeport Police in Texas dropped off a little boy on his first day of school in the Autism Humvee. Here’s what the Chief posted on his page below: “This is 6 year old Liam, and he has Autism. His mom contacted the police department and shared how Liam had not been coping very well lately and wanted to do something to make him feel better. She asked if we would be willing to pick him up in our Autism Humvee and take him to school on his first day back. Of course we said yes and loved it!
