We’ve been quiet on the socials lately but still hard at work filling your orders and preparing for the holidays!

Part of that prep has been securing these beautiful, hand-blown jars 😍 We’ll be mixing it up a bit this year based on your feedback and will be offering these jars via presale so you can pick your favorite style and scent! These will be poured and ready to ship right after Thanksgiving so they’ll be ready for their new homes early December🎄

A break from candle content to show some behind-the-scenes planning. From prepping for an upcoming market, a few pop-ups, and pricing out some custom/private label/wholesale orders - to say things have been busy on the admin side would be an understatement. But we wouldn’t have it any other way and are so thankful for these new opportunities!

We’re also thankful that our friend Hannah () shared how awesome .kaffe.tx is. It was the perfect place to get down to business ANNNND owned by a fellow female veteran. Just my cup of tea. 🙌🏼

🚨NEW SCENT ALERT🚨

Last year, we received a lot of requests for a candle more along the lines of sweet/spicy/gourmand. While we have those notes nailed down in the pumpkin category with our Browned Butter Pumpkin and Toasted Coconut Pumpkin - we wanted to have something different for this fall’s collection that felt like fall but wasn’t super pumpkin-forward.

Enter: Spiced Banana Bread.

It has all the nutmeg, toasted walnut, and caramelized banana goodness and is balanced beautifully with vanilla, sponge cake, and cinnamon.

She’s warm. She’s cozy. She’s toasty. She’s perfect. And she’ll be available so so soon!

We have over 150 candles poured, cured, and ready to go. September 2nd can’t come soon enough!

We’re doing things a little different this year and we’ll be uploading our entire inventory on launch day! In the past, we’ve always saved some backstock for markets - but it’s too dang hot here in Texas for outdoor markets and we haven’t really found any indoor ones nearby. What’s that mean for you?! It means if you see your favorite scent in stock, you better grab it while you can - because once we’re sold out, we’re sold out for the season!

We will have a few limited edition scents in some fun/non traditional jars too that’ll be popping up throughout the next few weeks after launch. But more to come on that front!

Been kinda quiet over here on the socials for the last few months. In all honesty - it’s been such a blessing to step back a bit, refocus, find my new groove, and recharge.

Since the fall, I’ve been so lucky to have been a small part of some truly amazing local markets and grow some roots here in Texas. I finally feel like I’ve had the social/emotional/professional bandwidth to allow myself to step back into a creative space lately, and oh my lanta - it feels so so so great.

I’m happy to share that I have some super exciting things up my sleeve (and in my belly)! 😍🤰🏻

Yepp, it’s true! Our Oceans Deep family will be growing here REAL SOON as we welcome our sweet boy in May!! This has been another factor to my radio silence on the interwebs… we’ve been soaking in everything in this new season of life without the hashtags, likes, comments, and shares. And sometimes, that’s just what the doctor ordered 🤷🏻‍♀️

That being said though, I feel the most like myself when I have a creative outlet and I don’t want to lose that. In fact, I want to be very deliberate about making space for me to be me in this new chapter of life - and teach this little one that it’s okay to make yourself a priority and fill your cup too. 💙

I’ve been pouring like crazy with my built-in sidekick (who’s really taking that name to a whole new level lately 🥴😂) and working on the website as well! The online shop is up to date - but full disclosure, you might want to hold your horses on any orders since there are so many great things are in the works!

Early to rise (not early to post) 😅

Our Fall Collection will feature some tried and true favorites and some new exciting blends we’ve been mixing up. And speaking of new, these 7.5 oz. amber jars are bringing so much warmth and coziness! Though they’re small - they’re mighty and have an average burn time of over 60 hours. Savannah here! Lots have things have changed in the last eight months. And when I say lots, I mean LOTS. To sum things up real quick: I put on my Coast Guard uniform for the last time and am officially a proud veteran. I started a new job, moved halfway across the country, got settled (ish), got married, we bought our first home, got re-settled, and BAM. Here we are. Still right by the ocean and drawing inspiration from His creations each and everyday.

With all of life’s changes and new beginnings, I had this feeling deep down that my company’s name needed to change just as much as I have over the last few months. Growing through life’s changes can be scary, but it’s not a bad thing. So welcome to the official announcement!

We are now Oceans Deep Candle Co.!

And while our name may have changed, our passion to create sustainably sourced, ethically made candles has not. And more importantly, I still have alllllll the carefully thought out candle recipes (and some new ones) in the works that are almost ready to share!

Hey everyone! This isn’t going to be like my normal happy posts because quite honestly these last few weeks haven’t been the normal happy weeks.

I wanted to jump on really quick and thank you all so much for your business this past holiday season and for your understanding throughout the last month or so.

On Christmas Day, my family unexpectedly lost one of the brightest people in our lives, my Uncle Cliff. It’s been a lot to process and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to go home for a few weeks and spend some much needed time with my family.

Thank you all for your patience during this time. We’ve been playing catch up, but sometimes the process of healing demands the return to a new normal and getting back into the swing of things. It’s taken some much needed time, but the website has been reopened for online/delivery orders and all of the fall and winter collection candles are 25% off while supplies last. We’re making some room in our studio for some pretty amazing things.

We’ve been busy over here keeping up with the fall orders and cranking out this year’s Christmas candles that’ll be launching sooner rather than later 😍 But today, we’re slowing down and devoting the day to cleaning up and recycling some jars as part of our recycling program!

Did you know that millions of candle jars end up in our landfills every year and that they can take up to 1,000 years to break down and biodegrade?! 😳The holiday season is one of the biggest seasons for waste, especially from candles, so let’s talk more about how you can recycle with us!

Option 1️⃣ (local): Have a favorite candle jar that you can’t part with? We get it (seriously 😅). We can refill your jar and you’ll get 10% off the total cost as a thank you 💙 We do this option A TON for the and candles!

Option 2️⃣ (local): Have old candle jars sitting around and don’t want them to join the millions already in landfills? Cool, cool. We’ll take them off your hands and give you 10% off a candle for each jar you bring in!
