Iām also reminded of Psalm 23, āthough I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear because YOU are with meāThe Father walks with us through everything, let us model the Father to our children. And yes I do realize a little extreme between riding a bike and walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but you get the idea š

So many messages from this scenešš¼From one dad to another. You are needed and important to your family.1. Itās never to late, to step up and be a father to your kids. This dad was in prison and didnāt let that stop him.2. So often we get caught up in our own pursuits that the we miss the biggest and most meaningful pursuit. The ā¤ļøās of our children.3. We have to be willing to break down the walls. Our kids put up walls as they get older. The world will try to influence our family ideals. We need to be willing to break down those walls4. Donāt let your own prison keep you from being there for your kids.5. Lastly, and maybe most important. Your kids need to know you are proud of them. That they are seen and loved. That they have what it takes. The writers of sing really did a good job in showing the importance of a father and son relationship. Obviously that saying can be taken to the extreme like we are seeing in the world around us, but much like anything in life we have to have balance. If you find yourself worn out, try practicing a little self care to get yourself back on track and show up for our families.HeartWork is HardWorkCheck out the full episode at The HeartWorking Dad #Podcast#selfcare #mensmentalhealth #fatherhoodpodcast #christianmentalhealth #fatherhood #dad
