@sango.amsterdam I made friends! She is Mocha, a cuddles manager here. She stared at me first (of course, she had never seen the walking sake!) but welcomed me soon! She told me that her owner also gives a coffee workshop like Barista Skills, Latte Art, Tasting, Brewing... Sounds super fun! Can I join?? Actually coffee and sake match well, like Irish coffee.. The owner told me that they named the cafe @sango.amsterdam (meaning corals in Japanese) because they value greatly sustainable lifestyle and were inspired by how sustainable practices have always been embodied in the traditional Japanese lifestyle. So here is Magere Brug, one of the most iconic landmarks in Amsterdam! It means "Skinny Bridge" in English... why? Apparently one of the folktales is that there were two sisters living on either side of the river and they built the skinny bridge with their budget in order to make it easier to visit each other. In 1871 the bridge was replaced with a wider one due to an increase in traffics, but how could the sisters imagine that their sweet hope became the loved landmark in Amsterdam? So beautiful!
